The Library Steakhouse

The owner of the restaurant messaged me privately and explained the situation in a very nice and friendly way. He assured me that I can have the Mashed Potatoes with the Prime Rib for an upcharge, and that they are swapping the southern green beans with creamed spinach.He also informed me that he was the man who brought out the new burger after the first one was over cooked. Super nice guy!The way he responded is top notch and therefore I have upped my rating and will be back again for a prime rib (with Mash Potatoes of course!)Thank you so much for your reply!

Not much to say ...but here goes Service is ok ..slow ..takes awhile for food to come out and when it did it was lukewarm ...Both had filets ..the worst steak I've ever had ..anywhere ...dry as a bone ..no seasoning ..over cooked ..2 stars because the manager was nice and did take one steak off the bill ...

Fantastic atmosphere and delicious food! My husband and I took my parents to dinner and everyone raved about their meal. We all tried a different cocktail. They all had fun names like Gone With The Whiskey , Last of the Mojitos , and To Bee or Not to Bee. Everyone said they would order them again. The Prim rib was incredible! We are foodies. They used quality ingredients and everything was plated beautifully. We will definitely be back. Ps We made a reservation. Walking in and being seated right away was fantastic!

Had a rehearsal dinner here the night before a wedding and the staff were great, friendly, and attentive. The food took a while to come out but considering the size of our party, that was probably to be expected. I ordered the blackberry mojito to drink and it was sweet, fruity, and delectable. For entree I chose the crab cakes with a side of sweet potatoes and both were delicious as well. Big thanks for The Library Steakhouse for hosting our event and making this evening run smoothly!!

Came here for the first time recently. The overall design and idea behind this place is fabulous. It has a modern/clean design to it yet has elements of class. This would a be great date night spot or place you want to take someone important to dinner. This place just opened up a few days ago so it seemed much of the staff was still ironing out kinks and learning their menu and bar items. The portion size for price is smaller than expected. Our waitress needed some hosting etiquette as she kept coming to our table asking to take orders when we were trying to enjoy conversation so we felt rather rushed which was a turnoff. Overall good place, just needs fine tuning.

Service started with 2 rolls and honey butter. Wait staff was excellent, polite and timely. Pork chop for my wife and angus burger for me. Both cooked to perfection. Love the ambiance. Huge booths, comfortable seats, Sinatra music and books galore. Highly recommend.

The ambiance is easily the best in Fuquay and the drinks are fantastic. The food is lacking in flavor unfortunately but hopefully that will change over time. Service was great and everyone was very knowledgeable.

What a great addition to downtown Fuquay!The Library is a charming place with delicious food and great drinks. All the cocktails are literally themed (Tequila Mockingbird).They know how to cook a steak to order perfectly. Service was attentive, with chefs and managers also checking to make sure everything is tip top. Fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion with a special meal.

The Library Steakhouse is located in the spot previously occupied by a.. you guessed it.. library. We dined in for dinner and had an okay experience. We started off with a round of drinks, it was a beer for me and the Godfather Old Fashion for my husband. We also tried the Tequila Mockingbird and a glass of wine. For food we tried the panko crusted lump crab dip to start then it was the salmon with cheesy potatoes for me and the filet mignon with candied sweet potatoes and a side Caesar salad for my husband. The starter was good just needed a little bit more baguette but we made it work. The dressing on the Caesar salad was interesting. The salmon was good but basic, it only had a little bit of drizzle and some craisins on it. The steak was supposed to be medium but it was closer to medium rare. My husband did not mind and liked it. We both really enjoyed the drinks and how they remodeled the space though. It is newer so I'll give it a bit and return soon.

Very disappointed, staff overwhelmed, food just not good. Chain steakhouse restaurants even the outback blow this place away.save your money
