Traveling between a morning spent at the Philadelphia Zoo and an afternoon at Longwood Gardens, this was the ideal lunch stop. Arrived at 2:30 to find their grill was closed for the day. I opted for a chicken salad sandwich and it so hit the spot! I'm not here often but I always feel like family the moment I walk in the door. They just celebrated their 60 year anniversary so they must be doing something right!

Head over heels the best cheesesteak in the area. Meat was tender, well favored with the perfect amount of cheese. Over 60 years in business and it shows, my new go to spot, so good!!

We randomly found this place on our way to another event and I am glad that we did. When we walked in we were immediately greeted. Customer service 10/10. My husband got the cheesesteak with hot peppers and onions. He is not a spice guy, so the peppers were hot to him but overall the sandwich was a 8/10 . I had the Big Muff with mushrooms which was really good. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly. It feels like your are having a good meal with neighbors. If you are in the area you should definitely check them out.

A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.

It had been almost 20 yrs since I had a Philly cheesesteak. So as I headed back to the DMV from Philly, I took a slight detour to get a cheesesteak. Within one minute of entering the restaurant, the staff greeted me and took my order. I ordered the cheesesteak with grilled onions and peppers. It was THE most delicious cheesesteak I've ever tasted. The bread was the very best, and the cheese was very flavorful. Besides my dining great experience, I really enjoyed the interaction between the local patrons and the staff. I look forward to returning.

Different Cheesesteak #892. I loved this place. Great little greasy spoon. They have a menu but I am pretty sure if Angela has it she will cook it for you. It was 9:30 am so I got a cheesesteak with eggs. $7.50. I Would have liked everything mixed and chopped together. But I am not complaining, I'll be going back!

Very good breakfast sandwich. Bacon egg and cheese on a muffin. Clean. Friendly. Also no frills either. Just basic inside. Some counter seating if you want to eat in. No ambiance at all inside. Just what you need and nothing more. I would go back and try a steak sandwich next I suppose.

GREAT PEOPLE. GREAT FOOD. GREAT COFFEE! Welcomed the moment I walked in the door. And, from that moment, my coffee order was remembered. Wish I had known about this treasure before.

I liked the food the people were nice. I did not expect what I will call family style dining where everyone is facing each other at a counter. I love history and would love to find out more about the place. It's cool like stepping back into a 60's luncheonette.

Greatest breakfast in delco. Go as often as I can. Very nice owners who take quality care of their customers.
