Located in a small strip mall The Happ Inn is good place for a quick bite. Although it wasn't very crowded when we dined there it was loud. The food arrived quick and my quoina and beet salad was tasty .

I was lucky enough to be here for a company event! The service is amazing! We had a set menu and you have a choice of London Broil or salmon for your entree! I picked London Broil and it was very tender and delicious (a really large portion too). We had the chocolate cake for dessert, it was a bit dry but the frosting in between the cake was yummy! We had the function in the private room so the noise level was not too loud!

We had a great night at Happ Inn! They were really busy on this Saturday night, but the owner was there creating patrons and making sure everyone was taken care of. They had a fun drink menu and they even brought my mom a sample of the wine she wanted before she ordered a glass! Our waiter was quick and handled all of our customizations graciously - he had a device to put the order in so all of our customizations were correct!It was a little loud when we walked in, but we requested a booth on our reservation which they were happy to accommodate. It was much quieter in a booth, so if you think it will be busy, definitely request a booth!I had a burger and I customized it with sautéed onions and pickles - it was fantastic!! The brioche bun is incredible and the fries were so good too!!

The Happ Inn is a staple in our family, and it's delicious!I love the comforting yet fun vibe here, it's super large so you can enjoy yourself at the bar with bit TVs, or have a large group dinner with family and friends in the dining area. Definitely feels like a Chicago/North Shore staple spot.The night we visited the place wasn't too busy, so service was nice and quick. All of the employees we encountered were helpful and kind.For dinner, I ordered the Willow Road salad with Grilled Chicken and it was fantastic. It's the perfect blend of flavors, I love the sweetness from the dates and croutons plus the creamy avocado and goat cheese. My grilled chicken was also moist and flavorful. Highly recommend this spot in Northfield!

We went here for our last meal in Glenview before we flew home. Incidentally I grew up in this town which was awesome to see how much things have changedover the years. Joes Mom moved into this incredible place that is definitely "country club" living, I'll get to that review next. This place is over in Northbrook very close to where we were staying, it was incredible. The decor, the food, the staff was all top notch! Joe ordered the clam chowder and it was delicious. I always love the club so I got the BLT. It was excellent, the bacon was cooked perfectly and theFrench fries were cooked all the way through! Love that! A undercooked fry is just not worth it to me, I'll pass or send it back. Joe ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and he just loved it. Joes Mom got the hamburger with Swiss and sweet potato fries, I'm pleased to say both types of French fries were excellent! We arrived there at 11 when they opened and it was very crowded. Myra our server was just excellent and very attentive. The busboy was always near to clear away the dishes, get rid of the evidence I always say :) I will definitely return to this amazing place! Loved it!

Went here for dinner this week. The location is great. Super clean. And very nice but we had horrible service. The waiter took our order only came back. I asked for my check and he went and was talking with another table and after a long time he finally came and brought it to me. I asked him for a copy of my receipt he made it seem like it was a hassle for him because he made me pay digitally.

What a perfect afternoon to grab some lunch and watch a little golf and the Cubbies , even though they lost. I was up north and decided to grab a seat at the bar at Happ Inn in Northfield. Great friendly atmosphere. Clean bar, clean everything in a great suburb. I ordered the wings, look at that picture; now those are what wings should be. Plump, tossed in an amazing bbq sauce served with bleu cheese or ranch dressing and a little garden to go along. Plenty to fill up on and they were delicious. Next I set my sights on the brisket grilled cheese. Now first let me say that the wings came out first and then the sandwich about 5 minutes after I finished the wings. Happ Inn knows how it's done. Bravo gentlemen (and women)Brisket was flavorful, slightly dry for me but complimented the grilled cheese perfectly. Their slaw, my choice for a side, was really yummy. Not to sweet and more than ample.If you're looking for a great place to watch a game, NCAAW tournament perchance, then get out of the city and get real food at a great price. All this and a pint draft for $45.00.

Stopped In for a quick dinner with my family and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. I was really hungry and looking forward to enjoying my meal. When the sandwich showed up I was shocked at how SMALL it was. Size of a slider. $16.00 BYW. I thought perhaps their was a mistake and I got something off the appetizer menu. I mentioned my shock to the nice waitress who brought over the young manager who smirked and thanked me for bringing it to his attention and he said he would speak to the kitchen. LOL SMALLEST GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH EVER. and a 3% service charge to top it off. REALLY feel taken advantage of.

Pretty solid spot for the area. Also considering Northfield has almost no places to eat. Martinis are good. Wine list is solid. Menu has something for everyone. I just wish they had like a New York strip, ribeye, or filet mignon or some shit. I'm not crazy about skirt steak. But it's fine.7/10
