The Halal Guys

Tried this place for the first time for lunch the other day, I gotta say the food was pretty good. I got the beef gyro plate with jalapenos, onions, hummus, hot sauce and their white sauce. Everything was fresh and tasty! The portions are very generous as well, I ended up taking half of it home for dinner. The place felt a bit cramped and the service was ok. The guy that rang up the order was staring at his phone the entire time, I don't think he looked up once which I thought was kind of rude. Other then that I have no complaints. I wouldn't eat here on a regular basis but it's definitely a place to hit up once in a while for something different.

We used to LOVE this place. Food was great, awesome lighting, tasty white sauce and meat. Have probably bought it bi weekly for months because we liked it so much. However, in the past few times we grabbed our food the amount of meat has been getting smaller. And what made us incredibly upset was this last time we went... in the middle of them pouring the meat, one of the workers (maybe the manager) kept telling our person that they were giving too much food to us while we were being served and kept stopping our person from providing more food. So one bowl had more food than the other by the time we recieved our plates. It was incredibly awkward and yet we paid full price for our "half" bowl.

If you haven't had Halal guys what are you doing? The food is so good, so filling and just a must try. Get the white sauce for sure, I always get the chicken platter with extra rice with onions and olives. The service is really good, everyone that works there is always nice. Also, if you like passion fruit, give their passion fruit lemonade a try! Not too sweet and really refreshing!

Got a small chicken platter ($9 something) and regular combo platter ($10 something). Preferred the beef (more flavor) over chicken. Decent amount of protein for the price, and the small was filling for me. White sauce is very good but high in calories for those health conscious folks. The red sauce is quite spicy. I still like Gyro Hut better (their chicken has more flavor), but Halal Guys is also good.

Great lunch spot!!! Food was fresh a made when I ordered. Never disappointed with this place. The parking was a little tight, but I managed to find somewhere to park. The area is very peaceful and serene shopping strip. I ordered the combo bowl with the chicken and gyro beef....full of veggies...now I must warn you about the red sauce. One line was enough for me, but if you are feeling adventurous go for more lol. Overall a great bowl of delicious flavors!!! Enjoy.

Delicious food and the staff is very kind. Very generous on their portions. 10/10 recommend.

Tried this place for the first time. I was interested in some Mediterranean food. I tried their two meat combo bowl with chicken and beef, rice,lettuce,peppers and onion. Topped with a garlic white sauce and hot sauce. Hot sauce was a little too hot for me but I survived. I will go back again. Price was good for this meal.

Good customer service. The worker helping me was patient and explained what is offered. The food was ok. Keeping in mind it's just a bowl of rice, lettuce, tomatoes, and your choice of meat and/or falafel. I choose the regular not the small and definitely should have done the small since I added a side of hummus and pita. The chicken was ok; the falafel (3 small balls) were hard (fried) but once they were open had a good taste - there was more shell than insides bc it had that much hard surface. I wouldn't get it again. I would also skip having the lettuce (I hate iceberg lettuce and it was a third of the bowl. The pita was thick and gummy once it was sitting in the foil, and while I wasn't overwhelmed with the pita by any means, I did enjoy the hummus. The sauce was good, but without it I don't think there would have been an a major flavor that stood out. I had them add fresh bell peppers, onions, and olives, and once everything was mixed together was definitely better. I don't think $16 is overpriced for nowadays' expenses for dining out for the amount of food - but it's definitely more of a fast food bowl taste, and I'd rather spend that much at a place that still blows me away with great tastes and quality food. Still, I'd go back and try the other meats and they have a picture of a chocolate baklava cheesecake - so I'm curious to try that dessert. The restaurant is small and was freezing. Next time I'll definitely sit outside (they have 3 or 4 metal tables set up.

Great butcher. They have amazing roasts and wonderful lamb I have not bought the goat yet because I do not know how to cook it but I have watched many others buying it
