The Gyro Grill

I visited because my hair stylist is a few doors down and the employees there all say they really enjoy the Gyro Grill. Today I had to get my hair cut late in the day and decided to stop there for dinner. The menu is limited. You've got your choice of traditional gyro meat (beef and lamb combination), grilled chicken, falafel. You can then get these items on a salad, in a gyro wrap, on a platter served with some sides, or on top of fries.Then there are some cheesesteak options menued as well. And that pretty much sums up the menu. And that's ok! Because while the menu sounds limited, what I got was extremely flavorful and tasty and done well! I chose traditional gyro meat on a pita with lettuce and onions and tzatziki sauce. I upgraded mine to a meal deal with fries and a beverage. The ambiance is the only thing that unfortunately lacks. Yes, this is a takeout joint. However, it's bland inside- they have beige tile floors, white/light beige walls, brown and beige tables and chairs, and a few pictures of the blue and white buildings in Greece. When my order was ready, left and got into my car and had to open the container because the fries smelled so good- I couldn't resist sampling a fry. They were crinkle style fries perfectly seasoned with the right amount of salt and oregano. They were actually addicting with the oregano! I found myself continually snacking on the fries on the way home. Then I finally got home to try the gyro. Packed full of meat and toppings! I loved their gyro meat! It was not too gamey at all. I hate gyro meat that is gamey. And well I hate lamb because it's too gamey for me. But their blend of beef and lamb helped with almost eliminating that gamey flavor. I am sure there was some gaminess, but it was not overwhelming, or even really there so much that I was even able to detect. Yes, this place has my stamp of approval for sure! I will be back!

The Gyro Grill is located in a busy plaza but you can usually find parking. The spot has a handful of dine-in tables. Service is friendly & helpful. I ordered a gyro with fries to-go. They stuffed the gyro to much for my taste. It was more like a taco than a gyro as there was no way to roll it up it was so full. I ended up eating it with a knife and fork. If I would have known I would be eating with a knife and fork I would have ordered the platter which comes with an extra side or two. Food was good, nothing to rave about but solid.

Been wanting to stop at this place for a while and I finally had the opportunity, although it is not a fancy restaurant in any way shape or form the food was delicious, fresh and the service was awesome. I totally recommend this establishment.

I was hungry and wanted to pick up something quick. I saw this place had five stars called and ordered. They picked up right away and the lady that took my order was nice and professional. She said my order would be ready in 10 mins so I got in my car and headed over. When I walked in it was ready at the counter.This is a spot to pick up food not really a spot to sit down and eat. I was in and out of there in less than 2 mins. The food smelled delicious. I couldn't resist. I sat in my car in the parking lot and ate the whole thing. I ordered a gyro pita. It was big I ate 3/4 of it and I was full. I will be putting this place on my list of go tos for lunch in the area!

Chiming back in as it's been a while since I've visited. Just recently got a spicy gyro pita and I was completely blown away by how good it was. The spicy feta they add was perfect. So good, that I went back the next day and got a spicy chicken pita which was just as delicious. The lady on the phone was very nice and is always helpful when I get there. Overall, highly recommend this place and glad they are still around.

I've probably been to this place 5x since trying it recently. I always order the chicken pita combo with fries. Call ahead or order there and the wait is less than 10 minutes. Everything is always hot and fresh! (Get the extra tzatziki sauce, it's worth it). I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet. It is a take out feel, the dining room has some chairs and tables spaced out but it's very lack luster. There's no music or tvs, it's very quiet (Not really inviting to dine in).

I have been hearing that this place was good. We had tried it once and were not impressed. (Was it different owners or was it too new? Not sure.) It is in a strip mall with lots of parking and where our new State Farm agent is located. (And she highly recommended it.) So, we decided to give it another shot.You can eat there. They have a few tables in a no-frills dining area. We chose to take our order home. And it was simple: 3 gyro sandwiches to go. 2 with cooked onions.What we got were humungous sandwiches packed with gyro meat that were tasty and moist. It took my adult daughter and I two sittings to eat our individual gyro sandwich. (We may share one next time.) Hubby scarfed his down.The menu is simple and limited, which is what may make this place so good. They concentrate on a few things and do them well. The prices online are not correct. Our sandwiches were $10.99 each, and definitely worth every penny.There are a few more things I want to try on the menu (the spinach, the bowls, the cheesesteak sandwiches). I can't wait!

Finally made it here. And omg!!The gyro and fries were amazing. The gyro was huge and packed with flavor. The fries were delicious, not greasy and seasoned perfectly..The girl at the counter was super friendly .They were very busy with Uber orders and pick up orders.The restaurant was clean and they have like 6 tables Get there early they get busy, so you know the food is excellent

I don't know why this place has 4.9 Stars It definitely deserves five stars. My family is in town visiting and decided to grab a bite to eat. The gyro pita was a 10 out of 10 The meat was delicious the sauce was great and the toppings were fresh. The fries were hot and crunchy and spiced perfectly. I have eaten gyros at lots of deferent places and I can honestly say this is as good as it gets. This place is great! We will be back!

cozy mom & pop atmosphere.The only con was the side order of fries, it was basically Arby's Fries, which taste good, but wasn't expecting this in a Greek Restaurant. Would have preferred straight cut white potatoe Fries, not these that seem to be frozen premade and preseasoned fries from the store. Other than this, the other items seem to made in house and fresh.
