We stopped into The Greek Joint when they first opened last April 2023. I remember driving by this location by accident, as I frequent Target next door. I've heard people talk about the original Greet Joint location in Hollywood but we have never been. We're always looking for delicious Greek or Mediterranean restaurants as we went to in Santorini for our honeymoon and the food is UNREAL!!!This place is very nice and I dig the simple and modern decor of the space. The patio dining area is very spacious. For the interior dining area, they have booths and tables. The bar is located in the back by the kitchen and bathroom.The food is delicious and authentic. The cocktails are flowing. We've had several different items on a few visits here. We've tried the following:* Four Dip Platter* Greek Salad* Chicken Souvlaki Sticks* Moussaka* Grilled Octopus* Stuffed Grape Leaves* Shrimp Santorini* Grilled Lamb Chops* Grilled Whole BranzinoMy favorite dishes are definitely the Four Dip Platter, Greek Salad, Grilled Lamb Chops and Grilled Whole Branzino. Everything was quite tasty. The Grilled Lamb Chops and Grilled Whole Branzino were cooked to perfection and had such great flavor all in all. The Grilled Octopus was great the first time around. The second time we had the octopus, it was just ok. I think it was the texture second time around that was meh.I remember the Chicken Souvlaki Sticks were a bit dry and the kids didn't even finish the dish. Moussaka was ok but it didn't blow my mind. The Stuffed Grape Leaves were too mushy for my liking. The Santorini Shrimp was delicious huge pieces of shrimp but the sauce was lacking.Overall, we really enjoyed The Greek Joint and it's nice and local.The vibe and service here is wonderful. The last time we were here, Bianca was our server and she was wonderful. Always smiling and accommodating. Very friendly.We'll be back to try other menu items. Mediterranean food is the best! The hostess was very helpful with seating my mom since she walks with a walker.My mom and I both ordered the lamb and beef pita which comes with salad and french fries.They brought out the salad first which was nice, we could enjoy that. The lamb pita was pretty good, a little dry.I'm guessing that they were a little short on staff because the waiter was very attentive in the beginning and after our food was brought out we never saw him again. Had to ask the hostess for our check and a box for the leftover food.

Hands down my favorite Greek restaurant in Broward. The staff is always friendly, food is fresh and portions are big. The menu selection is expansive and includes vegetarian options.

Walking through the door your hit with the smell of fresh baked bread which is brought to the table with oil oil to dip - decor is fresh and modern but cozy! Staff is friendly- Food was amazing! Wild caught salmon with spicy feta topping - I upgraded and got the lemon potatoes vs orzo and mixed veggies- As an app we had the sampler of dips - eggplant had a wonderful smoky flavor- You won't be sorry you stopped!

So much great food! We got the family style meal which is perfect for 2-4 people. All of the meats were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The service was beyond excellent. We are already planning our next visit to this restaurant.

Amazing dinner tonight at Greek joint davie! The space is chic and comfortable. Inside and outside seating with a stocked bar. They brought us over bread and waters right after we sat down. The bread with the dip was unreal delicious! Such unique flavor in the oil olive dip. We shared the fried feta for an app and it was perfectly done with honey on top. For my meal I got the pita wrap lamb and beef - delicious! Served with tzatziki on top with seasoned fries on the side. We will definitely be back!

Our waitress was amazing but food was O.K - too pricey doesn't make me want to ever come back. Not something I'd crave on a Wednesday afternoon.

In the mood for AMAZING Greek food? Well, you don't need to travel to the Mediterranean. The Greek Joint located in Davie on University Blvd has you covered. The Saganaki (fried cheese) was the BEST I have ever had. The whole fish branzino was divine, served crispy in a lemon sauce over asparagus. The chicken pita was also great, and it was served with a yummy Greek salad and fries. We tried the Galaktobourika for desert, and it was really good with a phillo dough and creamy center. Oh, and my drink, dirty martini was AWESOME, served by the friendly bartender Alex. There is seating inside, outside, and at the bar. The interior is Mediterranean without the typical Greek blue and white color scheme. What is cool is that even when you are seated inside, you feel like you are outside as they have a trellis and tree inside. The menu is more on the high-end pricy side, but it is so worth it. Enjoy!
