Great food!! Great service!!Excellent spot for brunch. Sat outside and started with the Sticky Pecan Bun. Yum!!! Can't go wrong with a bagel and eggs. Others had the general and couldn't say enough about the pastrami. Our server Brandon was super friendly and helpful.

Somewhere between a 4 and 4.5! Overall a good Sunday spaghetti dinner. For $32 you get a small house salad, spaghetti and meatballs, a garlic knot, and seasonal dessert. The salad was tasty and the spaghetti and meatballs were fresh and also very good. The seasonal dessert was rice pudding which was decent but not something I would've ever ordered myself. The online menus say that the dinner is $28, and past reviews have prices much lower. While times have changed, this dinner was solid but didn't necessarily feel like a good deal or anything special. If the dessert was a little bit more special like a tiramisu, piece of cake, or other Italian pastry, it would've felt a little bit more like a 5 star experience to me.

The food is largely the same as last time I was here. Unfortunately, the service isn't as good as it once was. Several times I've gotten takeout from the deli order was wrong.I don't think the women who make bagels know the difference between lox, Nova, gravlax... They don't understand what a toasted bagel is. Ordered an everything bagel toasted with gravlax. When I opened it at home it was nova on a cold bagel. Not sure if it's a language issue but, when you're paying over $20 for bagel and coffee it should be correct

I was getting lunch with a coworker and we wanted to meet somewhere by Emory/Druid Hills so we decided to check out The General Muir! It's been on my list for a while, especially since it got Michelin recognition! Finding it in Emory Point is pretty easy and luckily there's a deck right across from it that you can get validated parking for up to 3 hours. (This information was also available on their website which I LOVE when restaurants include that!). The space inside is so elegant and chic! It feels super bright and airy and there's plenty of seating options between the patio and inside. I want to come back and try their brunch. My coworker got a bagel while I got the half Matzo ball soup and a half turkey sandwich. The soup was so delicious and I loved the fresh dill sprinkled on top. The turkey sandwich was also super great and the lemon spread it came with was surprising but worked so well! Our waiter was also phenomenal, checked in on us plenty of times and kept our water glasses filled but never intrusive. Overall, awesome service, vibes, and food, what more can you ask for?? Definitely check this one out!!

***FOOD: OK Brunch. Nothing amazing to come weekly. MATZOH BALL SOUP - very good AVENUE D LOX SALMON OPEN FACE BAGEL - very fresh and delicious with the cream cheese THE GENERAL PLATTER - 2 eggs, pastrami and two potato latkes it was only OK. The pastrami was a little dry. POUTINE - not really what expected of poutine. Expected more Gravy than Cheese. It really should be called cheesy fries. Ok but wouldn't order this again. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$$ sort of pricey for breakfast brunch***DÉCOR: looks like classic deli diner with subway tiles and black and white. Cute. Parking could be an issue if you come during rush hour***SERVICE: server was ok. Took our order then didn't see again until the bill. Lots of good runners and water person. Good came out ok. Maybe 15-20 min wait. ***RECOMMEND: maybe go back off in the neighborhood or a friends just wanna meet them. RECOMMEND Sort of.

Deli-meets-romantic restaurant. Love the raised ceilings and the decor. Recognized on the Michelin Guide, though no specific accolades.+ Has poutine! Though it doesn't particularly stand out from other poutines.+ Very crispy confit chicken! The sides go well with it.+ Friendly service.+ Can order some deli sandwiches for dinner.+ Validated parking.- Kind of disappointing to get the menu that includes items for other times of the day or days of the week. The spaghetti dinner sounds so good!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet because I go basically every other weekend. It's obviously a favorite in my family. My husband and I usually sit at the bar. The service is excellent. It's not too loud to have a normal conversation. The food is fantastic and drinks as well. He always gets the double stack and I get either fish and potatoes or a bagel. Highly recommend!!!

Solid brunch spot! Was able to walk in on a Saturday for lunch without a reservation & was seated right away. Can't miss their matzoh ball soup! I also tried their Avenue A and Avenue D bagels and they were good as well. Ambiance is nice as well with lots of lighting.

I ordered the soup and sandwich combo they offer in the deli portion of the restaurant. For my sandwich I opted for the Reuben Sandwich and the Matzo Ball Soup. My first time for both of these items. Both were tasty. The Matzo in the Matzo ball soup was surprisingly flavorful but i was expecting a bit more in the broth like vegetables or something (it was just the broth and a ball lol, but maybe that's the norm ). The Reuben was also tasty, I'd prefer to go back and try it out fresh at the restaurant. Wasn't the best (even though I've never had a Reuben lol) but it wasn't bad. Again I ordered my food to go for lunch so that may have affected the food.Service at the deli counter is pretty straight forward. I ordered beforehand so I came and picked up my order. The restaurant seems nice and is always busy so I'd be happy to sit down for lunch or dinner one of these days
