2.5/5Based on the reviews, my husband and I stopped by for breakfast. Maybe I am missing something but Sunday brunch was, in fact, not as delicious as described. Service was truly the best thing about the front porch cafe. Our server was very patient. We appreciate him and recognize this review is not a reflection of him. Plenty of seating options inside and out but outside it's already in the 80s and the outside fans aren't running. Two tables asked to be moved inside it was so hot. We picked inside and had options but one table literally had a huge bag of trash inches from the table and another option was tucked around the corner I, for sure, thought we would be forgotten. I picked a table where at least one of us was visible from the main pathway. We were brought water and coffee pretty quickly but as I drank a gulp of my water, I saw two fruit flys in my water and flys in my husband's water. Our server brought us new waters but I was already a bit grossed out. I had a small error with my order (wrong breakfast meat) but it was quickly corrected. The issue is my sausage was cold. The bacon that accidentally came looked borderline cooked. I am pregnant and am not interested in risking listeria over a small thing. My granola pancake was good but was small. It's the size of a pancake from McDonald's. My pancake was supposed to come with vanilla cream, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries but alas. No fruit. My husband's corned beef was just okay. He loves breakfast potatoes and had one bite full and said they were not good. We watched who is either the owner or manager stand around on his phone and move pillows outside. As slow as they were, you think he would check in with his guests to make sure the quality is up to par. Or you would think he would be monitoring his kitchen to make sure everything is plated and sent to the right table. I watched another neighboring table sort out their food mistake. I would not come back. I hope our server succeeds and finds a business in SoBe that offers higher quality.
