5 stars all around for this neighborhood falafel cafe. Great service, great food and sleek ambience inside5 star service: the good looking Israeli fellow who runs the place is terrific. He doesn't even ask you to pay at the counter until you've finished ( he said " well what if you hated it?" : )5 star food: the falafel was freshly made and cooked right there. The same with the vegetable toppings... he makes them all there, and you get 5 included5 star ambience: I liked the sleek minimalistic decor and the large windows facing the street.

Came again and got the platter and it's definitely the way to go (value for dollar!) Total was $17 (without tip.)Shawarma was freshly carved and very juicy. Veggies were fresh and it's easy to customize and pick however many toppings you want. The pita is soo soft and fluffy. You get much more meat vs the pita sandwich when it's outside the bread...I'll be finishing this meal tomorrow!Definitely try the creamy looking red sauce. It adds a wonderful smoky, mildly spicy flavor. No lines and super fast service. Great option for no wait on las Olas.

Delicious homemade and fresh Shawarmas, pitas and platters. I love the Falafel pita stuffed with all the delicious toppings like red cabbage, white cabbage, coleslaw, tomato, cucumber, pickles, babaganush, Spanish eggplant, Turkish salad, parsley, tahini sauce, red pepper, olives, onion, lettuce and so much more. You can customize anything you want, service is very friendly and attentive. There are many vegetarian options. They also offer breakfast, salads and pastries. They have free parking just east of the building for customers.

My husband and I were looking for a quick easy meal during our recent trip to Fort Lauderdale. During our walk we stumbled across the Friendship Cafe. We decided to go in because we had been craving a salad after eating heavy food for days upon end. We both decided upon the Shwarma bowl. It was FANTASTIC. My who normally can't stand quinoa ate it and actually really liked it!!Another thing that sets this place apart is that they intellectually challenged individuals to run the restaurant and all money goes to running the Jewish center next door. It's a wonderful concept with a message of Friendship.
