Wonderful staff so accommodating. Fun ambiance and the food was all perfectly cooked and extra yummy. I can't wait to go back there!!

A solid brunch spot to meet friends. The interior is very fun and trendy. Food is solid and they have a good menu that's very food allergy friendly which is good. I ordered the chicken and waffles which are on the savory side. It's tasty but could use either more sauce or something as it's a little dry. Next time I'd ask for syrup. The spiked coffee flight was fun to split amongst friends. I only had the mocha one which was good but so strong I almost couldn't finish it oops. Overall not my fav food ever but convenient for friend meet ups and a solid meal.

We left here feeling like we ate at the UNfriendly Toast in Dedham.We were really looking forward to eating here for our first time but were unfortunately met with a server (Paige) who had a poor attitude and left us feeling incredibly disrespected.Upon sitting down, the server was frustrated with the hostess for not giving us the specials menu and stormed off to address that. She then came back and took our orders; my friend had a question about the home fries and what style they were, our server looked at her like she was crazy and eventually responded in a very condescending tone, "what are you talking about they're regular homefries." We let it go and proceeded to order. After we got our food, my friend wanted a side of sauce for her burrito and asked our server who looked at her confused, yet again, and questioned her in a disrespectful tone. She then proceeded to say, "I'm charging you extra for that," as she walked away. Then she came back and dropped the sauce on the table and walked away.When we finished eating, I expressed I did not like the drink I ordered (I took one sip) and asked if it was possible to have it removed. In response, she scoffed and walked over to her manager. The manager dropped off our check with the drink comped and we expressed how dissatisfied we were with our server's attitude towards us. The manager was quick to say they had several people call out sick and they were short staffed-I still expressed that I am a server myself and that is not an excuse for being condescending and rude to four people who were simply trying to enjoy brunch. The food was decent but not worth the experience.We are dissatisfied with the service we received as well as the overall response to our complaints, we will not be dining here again.

The friendly toast is an eclectic brunch chain in Massachusetts. This location is in Dedham, MA next to the Costco and Whole Foods in the Legacy Place Plaza. We came in on a Sunday and the wait time was 20 minutes around 11am. It was a little busy so we had to flag down our waiters a few times but the owner was walking around making sure that we had a good experience. The environment and diverse menu is what makes this place special. There's a lot of fun and quirky decorations all around the restaurant and the branding/theme is evident throughout their food and drink menu as well. The food was okay for the price. The avocado toast was seasoned well and had a good amount of toppings on the toast. The home fries were a little soggy and the turkey sausage seemed like it was a frozen patty. The cookie butter was just whipped butter with oreos mixed - not worth the extra dollar. The highway strawberry, on the other hand, is 2 chocolate covered french toasts with strawberries on top. It tasted pretty good covered in maple syrup. Overall, I'd rate the food as average because of the taste and presentation, but the overall experience was fun because of the ambiance. I'd recommend this place for a casual brunch or group hangout at least once when in Massachusetts.

The ambiance and decor is what will attract you or your kids. It's colorful and wild with random pieces. The menu has many options and seems to have to the same funky theme. Kids will probably love this place and adults will enjoy it as well but the price just isn't worth it. I had to pay 3 dollars for syrup that didn't come with my pancakes. The service was okay and the place was crowded but it was a Saturday morning.

First off, they have no guest WiFi. I cannot give five stars to anyplace that doesn't provide that basic service. The vibe is good, kind of fifties diner style. Prices are good, with the exception of the corned beef hash. A bit pricy for what I got. I think they ran it thru a grinder. So no texture for the corned beef and the potatoes are minced. But the flavor was good. The hash browns seem like they arrive frozen in a bag, not raw potatoes cut in house. I still managed to eat most of them, the cholula helped there. Coffee was good, eggs done properly. Excellent toast. I would come back.

I went to the Friendly Toast in Dedham the other day having been to the Back Bay location before. I have only gotten their benedict's before and they were pretty good. When we came in the older woman hostess was not very friendly at all and the first thing you expect entering a restaurant is feeling welcomed, even if it is busy. We waited on the yelp waiting list for not too long after arriving which was nice. The server we had was very nice and friendly (I wish I remembered her name). I got the omelette with the long name that has cheese, ham, bacon, and other stuff in it. It was really good but one thing I don't love about Friendly Toast is how some of the items they seem to be doing too much with the food. There was some maple/chipotle crema on it with pumpkin seeds and I didn't think the flavors were bad just a little weird/too sweet for an omelette. Potatoes and toast were solid. I think Friendly Toast is a little too out there and overpriced to be expanding to so many different places. I would rather go to 50s Diner and just get a simple breakfast. Some things on the menu are good but sometimes you just want something simple.

Such a cool retro hip vibe in this culinary forward place! Everything on the menu sounded delicious, it was hard to chose! Loved the appetizer sampler! The tots were moist, crunchy and full of flavor! The sauce was creamy, cheesy, and perfection! The cinnamon bread churro bites were sweet deliciousness and the breakfast egg rolls tasted like a crisp deviled egg. I got the chicken cordon bleu Bennie. Super yummy smoked ham, cheddar and the poached egg was done perfectly!! The sauce was tangy, mildly spicy and excellent! Can't say enough how really tasty this was!! The hash quiche potato hash brown bowels was creative-crispy and bright!! Really yummy! I had the mimosa flight and have to say they were all perfection! Sweet, hints of flavor, slightly tart and beautifully presented! The raspberry (flower in it) was my absolute fav! My friend had the Bloody Mary flight: the pickle one being the star of the flight! The maple bacon was too sweet....it really didn't marry the flavors very well but I could see how someone might like it. We enjoyed our pre-new years eve celebration at the Friendly toast! Oh and the staff were really really super friendly! Love the smiles!

The brunch at The Friendly Toast was delicious! I enjoyed the omelet and sourdough bread. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes, it was a little too spicy for me. I have a very low spice tolerance, but my friend also ordered the potatoes and thought they had some heat on them. I loved the mimosa flight! All the flavors were delicious. My friend got the espresso flight and it was great -- especially if you're a coffee fan.

What a great place, great vibe, great atmosphere. A hidden Gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
