The Empanada Company

Small little strip center restaurant with limited seating but it wasn't busy on a Thursday lunch hour. It's easy to order since they have everything already made in warmers. Pictures and explanations on the menu. They are mostly empanadas but they have a handful of miscellaneous like tortas, hot dogs.I had the mole, picadillo(beef with papa) and the egg with ham. I'd def go back and try different ones. My favorite was the mole. Lots of flavor. The dough/bread itself is thin but not flaky or dry. I felt it was a good amount of stuffing. The three for lunch were almost too much. Two would've done the job but couldn't resist. They also have dessert ones I'd like to try. Service was excellent, they were patient and kind.

I ordered ahead. The food was ready, my staff had tons of compliments. I would order again.

Omg!!! First time here and this little gem is about a mile from home...I finally decided to try this little place out! Super cute little cafe and set up inside. Super clean and bright in there! Delilah was incredibly helpful and sweet... I told her it was my first time and she was incredibly helpful with a smile! I don't know want the traffic is like in there during breakfast or lunch since I went at 230pm. The empanadas! The empanada is soft and yummy. I had the chicken tinga and picadillo! They were tasty!!! I brought others home and I'll update on those. Try it out... even if you just get one...

Passed by and saw this place and thought I would try it. It was ok. Only OK. I have had better empanadas . The food lacked flavour and was not that great.

The empanadas and the tortas are amazing here. They remind me of the ones from CDMX. Must go

I have been wanting to try this place for so long. I picked up some of these tasty treats for me and my parents. The lady at the front counter was very nice and she said the most asked for was the spicy brisket empanadas. Of course I ordered double empenadas and I also ordered the chicken tikka along with the spinach and empanada.The spicy brisket was good.. however it was a little bland. The pastry of the empanadas were not the most flavorful along with the brisket that was inside. However with their chile.. it was much better. I did not try any of the other empanadas because I gave them to my parents. They said they were good so I'll take their word for it!Will try their sweet empanadas next time.

10/10 I've never really been into empanadas even when my father would buy them from here I'd say no thank you. I finally decided to give them a try and omg these are actually so good! From the beef, chicken and pork they're all so tasty. Want something sweets? They got that too my favorite dessert being the Nutella ones! The actual store could you some updating especially with their ceiling but I'm here for the food. The lady always attends me as quick as she can never have I had to wait more than three minutes to get my food but it could also be because of the times I come here.

Tasting these empanadas was an experience. The creativity is admirable but also executed so well. We tried the Tinga, Picadillo, Mushroom, Queso, Spinach, Ham, Potato & Guava.. a lot I know. It's a hard choice, but I'd have to say the Spinach, Brava and Queso were my favorites. Dont be mistaken though, they were all amazing! My only complaint is the Ham & Egg unfortunately didn't seem to have any Ham at all. For an impulsive Uber Eats order, I couldn't have been more pleased.

Best empanadas I have ever had! The employees are always so nice and welcoming!My favorite empanada here is the picadillo, super delicious and filling. My second best is tied between the chorizo and potato and the spinach! I would also recommend their apple empanada, super delicious! I love that the price is so worth the quality and amount of food. Please give this cute little shop a try!

I love a good empanada and have a spot down near Westchase that I like. Hoping to find it closer to where I am now, I checked out the Empanada Company. I had read other reviews and had decided on the beef pastry before arriving, but I went at breakfast time and saw that the Empanada Brava is a mix of all their breakfast offerings, so I got both. $3.89 and $2.29, respectively. The cashier was friendly, and that's always appreciated!As for the goods themselves - - I liked the flavor of the Beef Pastry - I just wished there was more of it. - The Empanada Brava didn't meet my hopes for the dough. I really like very-doughy crust. As for its flavor, it's complex? no, just complicated? Maybe that's a given since it's literally a hodgepodge of all the other breakfast empanadas. I was tempted to try the dessert empanadas but restrained myself, so I can't comment on those. I am sure they are good.Overall I'd give the Empanada Company a solid 4 for the food and service. A nice handmade breakfast option that's healthier than doughnuts :)
