The Doughcone ice cream truck is a dream come true! There ice cream is super tasty, and the service is so good. Having recently catered for my event, I can definitely say they're awesome. Already planning my next event and can't wait to have the Doughcone cater. Highly recommend!

Of all the ice cream dessert trucks floating around in Houston, there are none quite like The Doughcone, figuratively and literally. They've been in operation for just under a decade and have established themselves as one of the most unique and "cool" businesses on wheels. They've certainly amassed the popular vote, in terms of reviews and brand awareness, which only gets heightened as this weather gets hotter.The concept is simple: donut cones filled with soft serve ice cream and customized to one's liking. The cones are baked individually and the ice cream is actually vegan. No matter what the combination is, it's always visually impressive and is as convivial as it is edible. There are so many toppings that I've yet to try them all. There are some typical toppings one would see at an ice cream shop (sprinkles, chocolate chip, fruity pebbles, crushed oreos, etc.) and there also some more unique choices such as Belgian chocolate chips, churro dust, and biscoff cookie butter. There are also some premium (#1) choices that include praline pecans, toasted marshmellows, hazelnut cappuccino wafers, and whipped cream. Want a tip? Check-in on Yelp and score a free premium topping.When the weather is hot, the soft serve melts super quick, so I would recommend the obligatory food photo-op and then immediately diving in. I've had a stale cone here and there, but it's bound to happen. These creations are going to be pricey for the average ice cream goer, but if there's any ice cream spot to splurge on, it's definitely something like The Doughcone.Lastly, I want to thank the people in the truck for always being friendly, welcoming, and their willingness to answer all the questions. I also appreciate that each cone is served inside a cup to keep the stickiness at bay. They are a credit / debit only business and they're in a different part of the city almost at all times. Peep their social media for their up-to-date location and fingers crossed it's near wherever you are.____________(#1) i.e. costs extra.

From the time of booking and leading up to the event, I had the pleasure of communicating with the owner himself, Avi. Just after one conversation, I don't know who wouldn't want to cater from him! He is so passionate about his business and such a sweet guy. He was very accommodating and welcoming. What a great dessert truck to have! We had them out for our daughter's birthday and couldn't have made a better choice. The kids and adults enjoyed the experience of building their own sundaes. The staff was extremely friendly and I would highly recommend having The Doughcone at your next event because I sure will have them again!

Loved this ice cream truck!! Grabbed a small cup while at the 713 night market. The staff was super friendly and they worked so quickly despite such a huge line. My sundae was just as delicious as it looked! I'm a big chocolate person and this definitely satisfied my chocolate craving. (The small cup was a lot more packed than I thought!) The dough is unique and super tasty. Hope to run into them again for another bite. :)

I checked out this place at Buffalo Bayou in the food truck park off Sabine St. I tried their rainbow Pride cone and it was such a cool idea!I got the secret topping of the day, sprinkles, peanuts, M&M's, and pecan praline (extra). Added the secret sauce of the day which added the perfect complement to this loaded ice cream cone.The owner Avi was super friendly and came over to talk while I waited on my order. This is such a great attribute that really stands out to me among any restaurant or business. I got to learn more about what Dough Cone does and some of the local restaurants they make ice cream for! I look forward to trying more of Dough Cone's ice creams and flavors! Definitely will be checking out their ice creams via the local restaurants as well!

The concept looks pretty cool, and the donut cone wasn't bad at all, but it didn't blow me away either, I guess to me, it was just blah... the women that helped us with their order was cool! For the experience, it was cool to go and get it because my daughter loves ice cream but even she said she probably won't go back to get it! There's better ice spots!!!

Avi and his event management team were hired for our 1,000-person city employee appreciation. They did a fantastic job on dessert, but also managed the other lunch food trucks and entertainment. I highly recommend them for your event.

The Dough Cone is an experience you don't want to miss. If your local or from out of town and your looking for a 5 star experience this is your spot. My favorite is the Banana Split with chopped dough cone but their hand made dough nut cones are amazing. The service is great. This is a place where everyone is treated like family.

I love visiting the dough cone team when i stop by hermann parks. The service is always friendly and speedy. I always feel so welcomed when I visit the truck. I've made it apart of my weekly outings to stop by the park to get a sweet treat to enjoy while walking around the beautiful park.
