The Crawling Crab

So good . Service was friendly, the place wasn't overly crowded and very family friendly. Nothing fancy about the decor but definitely welcoming . The seafood was fresh and well seasoned . My one complaint is beware if you're ordering spicy because they do NOT play with the spice , AT ALL. I love eating with my hands so I enjoyed every second of it . Best crab boil I have had out here thus far

Great service and juicy fresh crawfish. Also clean restaurant with very clean and well thought out restrooms. Definitely a must-return!

Pricey for what you get, service is slow. Ambiance felt like a cafeteria. Food tasted great though.

There were 4 other tables in this small restaurant at 6:30 on a Wednesday night. The server was friendly and we were sat in a booth for our party of 4. The ambiance was casual and clean.The tables had the usual paper tablecloths that you see in a seafood boil restaurant. The napkins were paper from the pull-bin and the plastic ware was just that: plastic ware. They had an array of Pepsi products for $2.99 each (in paper cups) or a hot green tea for $1.99 (also in a paper cup). They were out of the mussels and the scallops. We started with a dozen raw oysters, which must have already been shucked because they came to the table within 30 seconds, served with limes (??), Zesta crackers, horseradish, Tabasco, salt/pepper, and cocktail sauce. There was no odor and they tasted delicious. Next, we ordered the crawfish chowder and seafood gumbo with rice. Lastly, the fried catfish, chicken tenders, sausages, Cajun fries, and curly fries. The soups were insanely (temperature) hot. It took a while before we could take a few bites. There were five pieces of very dry crawfish at the bottom of my chowder, but the flavor of both soups was overall good.The fries were perfect. The fish and the chicken were cooked to perfection while remaining crispy. The sausage was smoky and juicy. Great experience!

The crawling crab is as close to New Orleans seafood as it gets! Awesome crawfish, and fresh fresh fresh oysters at a great price. Have eaten there many many times and never disappointed! And yes plastic bags and silver wear is how it's traditionally done!Best kept secret in town!

The customer service was amazing! They were very sweet always checked in. There was never a time no one was not smiling. the food could've used more seasoning and sauce to me, but everything was good very well. and very well priced !! didnt spend over $40 for a good dinner!

We ordered 2 clusters of snow crab and a cluster of peeled shrimp. The shrimp was delicious! I feel like the crab could have had more meat to it but I don't really know crab that well. Definitely get the calamari! Price wasn't bad at all for everything we ordered.

does shrimp and garlic butter usually make you throw up in your mouth I sure hope not, but this food made me barf before and after I was eating it, the crab was delicious but the shrimp will give you the runs.

The food is so good 10/10 definitely recommend. And would eat again hear if you would eat hear you would probably try the curly fries they are so good
