I've had The Collins on my list of restaurants to try for months and my siblings' birthday was the night we decided to give it a go! There were 8 of us and we all tried SO many different items off the menu, from cocktails and beer, to multiple appetizers, sandwiches, GF and regular pizzas, and entrees. Because it we were celebrating two birthdays, the waitress also brought two desserts with candles for us to sing happy birthday - the dessert was amazing too. The atmosphere was warm and so pleasant - we commented multiple times how it's rare to have that many people at one table and we can actually hear one another. The music level and booth-seating was just perfect. Also, big shout-out to our waitress Nevaeh! She was AMAZING - so attentive, had a great memory (who was GF from our group, two of which had birthdays, etc) and was overall one of the nicest waiters we've had in a LONG time. We will definitely be back and we also want to try out the other restaurants by the Arcadia Catering Co.Highly highly recommend!!

I have dined in Collins before & I have written quite a few good reviews. But this time it is a very disappointing experience. We are at the restaurant at 4pm; there are only a handful of customers. So we are taken to the table right away & we go ahead & order food. About the food, my companion has the BBQ ribs & me the prime rib. The BBQ ribs are great, tasty & tender. My prime rib is not as great. It has a lot of fat (as shown on the left side of the picture), & the meat is bland & almost tasteless. It doesn't even come with any side dishes. The server J suggests a baked potato without telling me it costs $8 extra. As for the service , it really needs a lot of improvement or requires further training on the wait staff. Server J appears to be very busy although there are few customers at 4pm at the restaurant. We order the onion dip as our appetizer. As we are finishing the dip, a fly lands in the dip & gets buried & dies. I have never seen a fly in a decent restaurant like Collins (not even at McDonald's) . As I point out to Server J , he says people bring in flies with them. Is he suggesting we bring in the flies ? In any case it's very disrespectful. I am still in shock that a server will give such an inappropriate remark. Before we pay our bill. I speak to the manager & she's understanding & gracious to deduct the charge on the onion dip. I should have taken a picture & send it the Health Department so would- be customers will be fore-warned. 1 star goes to the BBQ rib & 1 star goes to the manager.

On the final day of restaurant week, we decided to try a new restaurant with our friends for dinner, ultimately selecting The Collins Small Batch Kitchen located on 32nd Street and Camelback.Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated immediately, as we had made a reservation. The modern upscale decor created a relaxing ambiance, perfect for a nice dinner. Before ordering, we discovered their daily happy hour, from 3-6 pm, and decided to enjoy drinks and onion dip. The dip was delicious and creamy, so we ordered another round after our friends arrived.Julia, our server, introduced herself and took us on a culinary journey through the menu. We all initially planned to order from the restaurant week options, but after Julia thoroughly explained the menu and specials, we were undecided. She listened attentively to our preferences and offered excellent suggestions. Eventually, my husband chose the Braised beef short ribs off the regular menu. They were so tender and delicious! They were served with parmesan-chive risotto and roasted Brussels leaves. Our friends opted for the Ribeye off the regular menu and the Prime Rib from the restaurant week menu.We also tried the golden beets, loaded baked potato, and crab and corn chowder soup. Once it was dessert time we couldn't decide on which dessert, so we got three: Sticky Toffee Pudding, Coconut Cream Pie, and Chocolate Mousse Pie. The Coconut Cream Pie was our favorite, but all three were delicious! As our dinner came to a close, we requested the presence of the manager, Catherine, to express our delight with the service. As a gesture of kindness, she gave us a parting gift including seasoning, sauce, and coupons. We had such a great experience we were there three hours! We will definitely be back and will for sure request Julia! She literally made us all feel like long-time friends!

Maddy was our server and she was very knowledgeable. Everything was great from start to finish. I will be coming back to try more menu items! The Brussel sprouts were to die for; best I've had in years & the ceviche was fresh!

First time at the Collins at this location. Stopped by for happy hour but decided to have a quick pre-concert dinner. Bar was pretty noisy but dinning area was pleasant. Service was excellent. Shared a Bacon & Brussel Sprout appetizer. Grilled Chicken and Brie Sandwich with Fries was the dinner entree. Have never been disappointed at the Collins.

Shrimp Caesar salad was awesome but probably won't be back because it was $26 before tax and tip! The shrimp was grilled and seasoned beautifully, the Noble croutons were large but soft and delicate, and I loved how the lettuce was chopped up small. However over $30 for a lunch salad is just not realistic to do regularly.Table shared the Noble bread which had a plentiful heap of delicious whipped butter, and the dip duo - both dips were tasty and so were the chips.I thought the service was good, some in our large party thought it was a little slow. The interior of the restaurant was chic and comfortable. Please bring down the prices just a smidge and I'll be back.

We were in the area and needed a place to eat and were happily surprised by this find! The staff were very friendly and accommodating of a gluten sensitivity in our group. Food was tasty, the shoestring fries are definitely a win in our book, and we enjoyed the pizzas!

This food was amazingly well put together and the dining area was chock full of liveliness mixed with the delicious drinks put together by the barista. The servers were top notch with their tidiness and their work, would definitely come and try the salmon and the steak noodle salad, won't disappoint either with a date night or a time with friends

Great casual spot with a modern American atmosphere. Went on a Saturday night recently and did not need a reservation, which was nice. Service was good. Really enjoyed the crab cakes. They may not beat the ones from a seafood restaurant, but they're pretty good and I'm never disappointed. I personally like that they're mostly crab and don't have a bunch of other items in them like chopped veggies. Chicken tenders are delicious. The King's Burger was good just a little messy and a lot of bun. A spot I should remember to go to more!

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/zDoJRLQrcjQrpUtb/?mibextid=oFDknOne of the best meals out I have ever had and the staff were all efficient and friendly. Nice atmosphere where you could lounge in classic American style with modern updates. Brick lined walls, leather booths and chairs, beamed high ceiling, just makes one want to stay for pours and we did!
