An absolute masterpiece as you enter through the wide doorsI was skeptical at first because this place looked fancy, yet when I looked at the food I ordered(margherita pizza) I was blown away by not only the flavor yet the price that comes with it!Would definitely come again

Cocktails & dinner with the girls was a success! Ambrogio 15 is a nice addition to the Biltmore area. There is parking out front of the restaurant, but make sure you arrive early if you have reservations. Ambrogio 15 is located on the backside of the mall near Macy's. The ambiance is definitely giving date night, and I really liked the decor. We started off with the focaccia & may I say, it was some of the best I have ever tasted. The bread was light & fluffy & the puttanesca butter paired perfectly with it. They have a pretty solid cocktail program. The espresso martini & smoke & mirrors were some of our favorites of the night. For dinner, we shared the sea bass, oxtail pappardelle, & truffle pasta. I saw a lot of comments mentioning the food was too salty, but ours was seasoned well. We enjoyed every entree we ordered. The pasta wasn't very heavy either, which was beneficial to my waistline. The tiramisu was the perfect option for dessert. We had a great night at Ambrogio 15!

A friend wanted to try this new place, and I will admit, that I wasn't super excited from the get go as I checked out their menu and there was nothing that jumped out that I was super excited about....but I thought I can at least get a pizza as a back up!First impressions on walking in, it was very dark and sophisticated looking. I felt like it was lacking in warmth and personality, but maybe that's just me. All the windows are covered and there are some distracting neon light strips that run throughout the restaurant. The host was professional but not super friendly. I would say the same about our waitress, nothing terrible but just not very warm. I feel like the vibe of most of the staff is just too pretentious and a little up tight. We did talk to the head bartender and he was very cool, along with another waitress with a pixie cut that wasn't even our waitress but was very friendly! We were seated and took a look at the drink menu. The drinks all looked good, but the prices were insane! My husband ordered a mixed drink that he said was very tasty but was $23 and I don't even think was 4 ounces as most of the glass was taken up by a gigantic ice cube. My other friend ordered another over $20 drink, then a martini, nothing special but still over $20. My glass of wine at $14 seemed like a steal! We all would have normally ordered a second round but decided we didn't want to add another $100 to our bill and thought we would go elsewhere for drinks after! In my opinion, this is one of the hugest mistakes of this restaurant...we aren't sitting at a beach in Hawaii, where one might expect to pay these prices...Now on to the food! The focaccia and burrata were great! If I were to ever go back, I would definitely get both of these again! We also ordered two pastas that we were very excited about. However, when they came out, it was not what we were expecting at all! The carbonara ravioli was just like a single lasagna noodle rolled up with sauce inside. The noodle was cooked less than al dente. We also got the cannelloni alla bolognese. This noodle was at least cooked better but the overall dish was way too rich heavy. The waitress did say that the portions are "appropriate" and not large. However, each one of the four of us only got one bite of each pasta dish. We joked that it was more like eating tapas at almost $30 a plate. We then had the salamino picante pizza delivered. We all liked the pizza and it was a good size to share! While we all said we would come back for the pizza, the drink prices will unfortunately stop us from likely doing that in the future. There are too many other places that also do a great pizza and are more reasonable on the drinks and other dishes with better pasta! We are locals and want restaurants to succeed! However, this one is just missing the mark on too many areas for us to return. If they make some changes, we would give it another try, but not as it is now.

First time at Ambrogio15 and we had such a lovely time. The drink and dinner menu had something for everyone, and the food was delicious. For appetizers we did the focaccia and the yellowfin. The focaccia was really fluffy and light, it came with this aged spicy oil which was really spicy as mentioned. For our mains we shared the seabass, oxtail pasta and truffle pasta. I didn't know what to expect from the truffle pasta but it was honestly my favorite dish of the evening. Seconded bu the oxtail pasta, I do love oxtail so that was a hit for me. The pasta was al dente, enough sauce and tasteful. I have to say I portion size of the oxtail pasta wasn't a lot. The sea-bass was my least enjoyed meal, I smelled a little too fishy for my taste. Desert wise, the tiramisu was so good, not too sweet, I really enjoyed it. The drinks were really good as well, they made the best expresso martini I have had in a long time. And I told the bartender we enjoyed all our drinks. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really inviting and classy. It's a dress up a little nice type restaurant. Lots of lightening, tasteful decorations and welcoming staff. Parking is outside might be a problem since they share parking lot with other establishment, so plan accordingly! I'll definitely be back here

Our waitress was phenomenal she really worked hard on saying the right pronunciation of the food and wines. She was very attentive and helpful with food options. I loved the seating of the booths near the fireplace, and bar was a decent size. The pizza was so unique that I loved every bit of it.

One of the best GF pizzas I've ever had! We started with the 13 Beaches mocktails, my friend got the meatballs- she loved them. She and another friend both had the cannelloni entree and thought it was delicious (+recommended by our server). I had the GF prosciutto pizza. The sauce was so good and there was a huge ball of burrata on top... loved breaking that open and it made it even better! Great service and ambiance. We made a reservation a little more than a month in advance. There were definitely some open tables but I would still recommend making a reservation!

We made an impromptu reservation in the middle of the week and had no issue with getting the table. The service was good. We started with the hamachi crudo. And by far the best in town. Perfectly balanced. Great fresh fish quality. The Cesare salad was decent. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Great quality. My little bit negative on this one is that it was doused with sauce and I am not sure what the flavor profile was supposed to be but it was almost sweet and sour sauce. Personally, not to my liking. The oxtail ragu was a bit weak. We had some bones in our sauce, which was surprising, but overall the the pasta dish was ok.

We gave this place another shot for lunch! They changed up their menu a bit and it's definitely for the better!! The service was exceptional this time around as was the food! Eric, our server, recommended a few different items and each one was spot on. My favorite was the Miami vice pasta, I could've eaten this all by myself. Can't believe what a difference a server can make for our experience! Glad we gave it another try!

I really was excited to try this new restaurant. The ambiance looked amazing. But unfortunately things didn't go as well as I'd hoped to. We were a group of 6 and we all were excited. I can strongly say that the bartenders seem to have their game on. The drinks were super amazing. 2 main issues we had were service timing. Our server was very welcoming and when check up on us got back to whatever we asked for. The issue was the timing. Our appetizers came in and we still haven't had our drinks. When asked the explanation was that they only had 2 bartenders and they're trying to catchup. This is a Monday night. The main entrees came and mine was the only one that didn't show up. And it was fish. My friends had to wait until mine arrive and I did insist they start before me. My fish dish was amazing and very well done. I asked my friends how their meals were and they all nodded that it was ok, but were expecting more. 2 of my friends one had the ox tail pasta and the other had the ravioli both said their meals were not hot enough, it was lukewarm. I tho uh h uh could have been because of the waiter kindest guy he said no, the plate was cold and he did take a taste of the dish when it arrived and it wasn't warm enough. The three starts were for the welcoming attitude of the server and the well made cocktails.
