The question currently on my mind is - why did I take so long to come here?I had heard of The Citadel before but didn't really know where it was until recently when I was looking for a spot for myself and my friend to have lunch in between her (Hollywood) and me (Brickell). Searching Google maps, The Citadel seemed to fit the bill.Parking here is easy. There's a parking lot behind The Citadel which was $4.50 an hour on a Saturday afternoon. My friend found parking in the front for $2.50 an hour (I think it's street parking). There are two entrances - one in the front, one in the back. We walked around, gawking at all of the amazing food choices. I got crispy chicken bao buns and my friend got beef pho from Pho Sho, and I got seasoned fries (don't remember what they were called but according to a menu I found on Google from 2 yrs ago, they're called Cuban Tariff fries) from USBS aka United States Burger Service. The stalls each ask for your phone number and text you when your food's ready. Seating was easy to find. We settled into some cork barstools and waited for our food. We got our texts shortly thereafter. My bao buns were piping hot and delicious, but I found a hair in one of them. They came with crunchy cucumber and carrot slices, jalapeño, and honey Sriracha on top. They were happy to accommodate my request for no cilantro. My friend really liked her pho but found the meatballs in it too compressed (I didn't try them so I can't say). My fries were SO good, and I love the aioli they came with. The pickup system for USBS was so unique. I approached the cashier and she said to open the Tina mailbox (which confused me at first). They put the orders in little mailboxes - so cool and on-brand! After eating lunch, I went to Doña Posada and got a pumpkin spice Carrot muffin, a dulce de Leche brownie, and brioche cinnamon roll. The muffin was good but not moist enough for my liking. The brownie was great. I haven't tried the cinnamon roll yet. We also went to Vice City Coffee. Sadly, they didn't have the nitro coffee so I got a cold brew. It was good, but I wish the barista would have asked if I wanted any milk or syrup because I completely forgot to ask. My friend liked her latte. We browsed the plant store which is next to the dining area. They had some really cute stuff, but sadly the flowers I wanted didn't have the price marked (and there's no cashier to ask). After eating, we browsed the other shops. There was a room with art in it (I didn't see a place to pay so I have to assume it's part of the thrift shop nextdoor?) And a thrift shop which seemed to be mostly thrift goods but also some candy and new jewelry. The thrift shop was so interesting to browse. I was going to purchase some candy, but didn't want to deal with the shop owner or employee (not sure which he was). He sounded like a chain smoker and I didn't want to have to talk to him, but then he was on the phone and eating sushi so I wasn't going to bother. Right outside of the thrift shop are a few arcade games like Pac Man.Overall, coming here was a fun, interesting, and delicious way to spend a few hours of my Saturday. I definitely intend to come back, especially because of the quality of the food.

This place is awesome. A good spot to have a chill time. The DJ is amazing and the ambiance is for family and friends. The food is good as well. Try a burger at USBS. Amazing! The bartender Vince AkA Mr. Cowboy! Is awesome and makes great drinks! If you're looking for something more romantic try the rooftop and if you're looking for something more quiet try the 2nd floor.

Loved the Citadel! Great place to gather with friends as there are many wonderful options to choose from. If you're in the mood for some amazing cocktails, make sure to visit Vince. You can't miss him; he's the one with the cowboy hat. The only thing that would make this place even better are a couple pool tables, and maybe even a little karaoke in the evenings!

this is my second time visiting the Citadel. Both times were very busy. It's a very family oriented food hall. You can also bring your dogs. There's a variety of food options & You can also grab coffee or go thrifting. Definitely a cool stop jf you're in South Florida, def check it out. It's fun to go with a group of friends.

My girlfriend and I were across the street and ready for a venue change so headed over to The Citadel. We started on the bottom floor- we sat at the bar. They had screens with the football games on which was cool. We ordered drinks at the bar- the staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered some food at the bar to pick on while we drank. We then headed to the Kaijin bar on the 2nd floor. This is a cool concept- fancier drinks in a cool Japanese bar. I liked the music they had playing there. Next we headed up to the roof for one final drink at the bar. Great skyline views with a nice ambiance. It was a good time.

The Citadel is a great place to have a quiet lunch on weekdays. Yes, quiet, but only during lunch on weekdays. I've been here a few times later at night and on weekends and it gets crowded. I have to say that there are a few great places at this giant food court, but the real standout for me is Stanzione, the pizza place. They're making true Neapolitan pizza. It's chewy, but not tough, the tomatoes are San Marzano, the pizzaiollo (more of a Master Pizzaiollo) is doing everything right from slapping the dough to the occasional lift inside the oven to make sure the toppings all get enough cooking time--btw it's done in under 90 seconds from when he puts it in. Have the Margherita pizza and call it a day.

The Citadel is a food hall along with a marketplace! There are about 12 food vendors here with a mix of cultures participating. There are also a few vendors selling their goods. The ambiance is welcoming, comfortable, and fun!!We sat upstairs on the rooftop from late afternoon thru the evening so that we could see the cool lighting and the night views! The music is Top 40, Latin, and house. We had a great time.If you are on the rooftop and hungry, a server will take your order and go downstairs to the restaurant of your choice. She/he will bring it back to you when it is ready. Very convenient for the customer. There is parking behind the building as well as on the street. There are stairs and an elevator to get to the rooftop.

They never miss here. Today I had the usual, tuna crispy rice & some honey jerk chicken wings. So good! I can have these two every single day. My boyfriend tried the honey jerk chicken bowl, which came with two sides. He chose rice & fried sweet plantain. So delicious! We also like to visit the thrift store right at the entrance.
