Ordered the classic burger with cheddar cheese, LTO, pickles and mayo. Added ketchup and mustard. The burger tasted exactly like you would imagine a burger off the grill should taste. Nothing special but hits the spot when you just want a burger. The fries were cooked and salted well but they did go soggy a little quick. A little too much oil for my taste as well. For a food truck burger, it's pretty decent overall. Would eat here again if it was around but would not go out of my way for one of their burgers.

We grabbed two burgers and fries while attending the annual Houston Art Car Parade. Three choices were more than adequate as all 3 burgers looked outstanding. And they were!Few selections allow them to be fast, fast, faster than any other truck with a similar menu and only cooked-on-the-spot food. We forgot to pick up ketchup for the fries but later discussed how much we're glad we didn't drown them - they were excellent.

Nothing to write home about. Not a bad burger but not s great burger. French fries were pretty good. We had the burgers while at Kirby Ice House so the store front may be better. I had the veggie burger and Jason had the Serrano and jalapeño burger with pepper jack cheese.

Excellent burger. I saw this truck at the FPSF 2015 and hadn't seen them before in Houston, so I thought I would give them a try. Ordered the Mexi burger and it was delicious. Comes with ham, avocado, chipotle mayo, queso fresco and lettuce. Patty wasn't really seasoned much at all, the regular bun wasn't anything special but it worked and I wish it would have had tomato, but I would definitely hunt them down again and grab another burger and try their fries. Burger was $12.Lines went very quickly and once ordered I was able to get my order within about 5 minutes.

Tasty burger food truck if you go I recommend the fire burger with egg. It's a little more expensive that an average burger place but it's worth it in my opinion! Definitely try it at least once

Since moving to Houston in February, 2009, I've been on a quest to find THE BEST burger in Houston and I think I may have found one in the upper 5%. LOL.Next to Becks (yes, I said Becks), the Burger Joint is AWESOME! I discovered this little gem of a place via my handy dandy Uber Eats app and spent about $23 on a burger, fries and oreo shake. Sounds pricey right? Well, I reasoned that if I were at a restaurant, I would probably spend the same. The portions were large, so I feel like I got my money's worth. Here is my standing bi-weekly order (don't judge me! haha):1. Mushroom Burger, medium, add bacon.2. Hand cut fries (so divine! There is NOTHING like hand cut fries).3. Oreo shake4. Sides of Garlic herb mayo and Bacon Aioli---First, let's talk about the burger:The burger is always cooked PERFECTLY. You get exactly what you order. I ask for medium and I get just that, medium! At most burger spots, you have to order "one wellness down" in order to get what you want. For example: "medium rare = medium, etc". The burger is seasoned to perfection--it's not over seasoned or under seasoned. The bun is toasted perfectly, the carmelized onions (OMG) and smoked gouda cheese (OMG x 2). This is one of of those deliciously messy burgers where the sauce runs down your chin and after 3 bites you're full! Just writing about it is making me salivate. I think within the last 3 months, I've spent about $150 there! (I'm afraid to tally up the receipts! LOL)---Next, let's discuss the fries:There is nothing, I repeat, nothing I despise more than boring crinkle fries or potato wedges! Shoe string fries are OKAY, but if I want that, I'll go to McD's, right? Well, it's rare to find a place that has natural cut fries! So once I found out the Burger Joint had them, I was in love. Not to mention, they give you A LOT of fries for $2.75.---The oreo cookie shake was SOOO freakin delicious! I just wish I could order it in a larger size, but it's probably best that I don't. LOL---Finally, let's talk about the special sauces:So, I have this obsession with sauces. I usually make my own (mayo, liquid smoke, tobasco or Louisiana, mustard, herbs and spices) and my "sauce game" is REAL! I put sauces on just about everything! I tell you what, The Burger Joint must have gotten my "mental memo to the universe" because they have an AWESOME selection of sauces and they are SO unbelievably delish! My favorite's are the bacon aioli, garlic aioli and garlic herb! I dip everything in them, my burger, fries---so freakin good!Side bar: One day I was in the mood for a hot dog and ordered the Chili Queso Dog. It was REALLY good. I mean, REALLY REALLY good! In conclusion, The Burger Joint is one of the best there is and I will continue to patronize them as long as I don't get fat. LOL

Took my little sister here after a visit to the museum of natural science and the burgers were delicious at a reasonable price! Milkshakes were pretty good too.

Hands down, the best gourmet/complex burgers in town. Maybe even, the best such that I've ever had anywhere. Let's be clear: if you're not into a lot of stuff on your burger, you CAN find that here, but make sure you stick with what you love.I say that, because anyone I've met who's not a fan, is the type of person who prefers simple, no-frills burgers. For whatever reason, probably because they look incredibly enticing, they often still order something too fancy. Don't do it! They make an incredibly tasty basic burger, so stick with what your palate can handle. For the more adventurous, try the Smoke Stack, the Fire, or really any other more complex creation, and I promise you won't be disappointed. And the bacon parm fries are amazeballs.

I was unhappy to receive a very different burger and fries from the ones I'm used to getting at the restaurant. The burger had a frozen texture to it. The bun was crumbly. The fries were frozen, not the usual hand cut. I was even charged more than the restaurant cost for a lesser quality meal. Don't be fooled.

Burger Joint Food Truck came out to cater an event for 115 of our high school seniors this week and everything ran so smoothly! The staff was awesome to work with both before the event and during. Most importantly, the food was fresh and so good! The kids were happy and the staff was jealous! Can't wait to have them back again!
