My wife and I came here for breakfast one day. Been wanting to try them for a while. They were busy, a good sign. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict with avocado and I ordered the Philly, hold the onions and peppers. Both were prepared well and were delicious, although my wife would prefer the hash browns crispier ( I agree ). Overall a good experience, we will be back.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. They had knowledge of there menu down to a science. The place was like a true southern brunch home cooking restaurant. We walked in with a large group and we're greeted immediately with a smile and pleasant conversation. My table got 2 steak breakfasts, one big stack of pancakes and I got a sausage egg and cheese burrito with hash browns. It was all delicious.

Good decent breakfast fare delivered but happy wait staff who are personable but not intrusive. Our waitress was operating with one hand having recently had surgery on one arm. No lack of service, her peers helped her out cheerfully. We sampled the French toast, cinnamon French toast and some egg platters. Every thing was hearty and expected with two notable exceptions, the cinnamon French toast and side order and the hash browns. The cinnamon French toast is a brioche from a local baker, laced with cinnamon and raisins. Whether it was bathed in custard to make French toast or served as a toasted side, it was outstanding. The other exception were the hash browns. Unfortunately, they weren't the quality of the rest of the meal and were a shredded, possibly frozen mess devoid of flavor whose only edible part was the crusty brown outer layer that kissed the grill. All in all, this is a good, casual place that is packed on the weekends and will leave you full and satisfied. Say hi to the quirky rooster outside as well.

Reminds me of home, simply a good place to eat. This place was filled with smiling faces, full belly's and empty plates. It was my first visit and I immediately knew I had stumbled upon a gem. I was greeted and seated promptly. The menu was easy to navigate and offered a variety of choices. My waitress was amazing; her recommendations based off of my inquiries were perfect. The vibe was chill, a sure place to enjoy a comfort meal. I'll be returning sooner than later.

Fantastic service, tremendous food, and very affordable pricing! This would be my top recommendation for a classic breakfast in Spring! Treat yourself to the pancakes, even if you order one as a side, they are worth it!

Food: Tasted homemade. It was delicious. Best of all, their grits tasted homemade and normal as well, which for Houston area, I have had a hard time finding good grits. 5 stars.Service: Friendly and warm. 5 stars.Ambiance: The feel reminds me of the old 70s TV classic "Alice." All of the staff's / servers' friendliness and personalities reminded me of Alice, Vera, and Flo. I was just hoping to see Vic Tayback's Mel to pop out from the kitchen. 5 stars.Parking: I can see why this place is popular. It is jammed packed. Parking is limited. Nothing they can do about it, but it is the only drawback. 4 starsOverall: 5 stars

Quaint breakfast spot that reminded me of home cooked meals and breakfast at Grandma's house! They provide a cute breakfast nook ambiance complete with rooster and diner decor!I love their build your own omelette plate because they had a good variety of options available to add. Their patty sausage was amazing and the hash browns hit the spot. I was also pleasantly surprised by the affordability of many dishes. Parking onsite - although parking might be more difficult on the weekends/early mornings. Do note that they close at 2pm! If you're looking to add a new go-to breakfast spot, this is the place!

Let me first say that the service was wonderful, the prices were good, but the food was very average. This was my first time at this establishment. it was recommended to me I went with a group of people. I initially ordered the build your own omelette. Everyone else in my table, bacon, eggs, grits, or French toast. When my order came out, it was like two sunny side up eggs or over easy eggs with, meat and cheese sprinkled on top with garnish with avocado, which I did not order. I've never seen an omelette made with over easy or sunny side up eggs only scrambled. I believe they got my order confused with another order but my order wasn't prepared. I changed my order to French toast which seemed like a a popular item, it was ok. But served with a large scoop of margarine not butter. Like I stated before very average
