The Blue Fish

Found this place later in the evening and haven't a try. Top quality sushi rolls with lots of creativity by the sushi chefs. Service was outstanding. Food was delish. It felt like a top quality restaurant inside. Beer menu, and cool mixed drinks and a large selection of sake. Thumbs up all around. I'd highly recommend this place.

Awesome service at the sushi bar. Fresh fish. I had the yellowtail and salmon poke bowl special for lunch. Waitress super nice and attentive at lunch hour.

Drove by this place many times and finally decided to try it. Shockingly good fish quality for Denver, they fly it in daily from Japan and Hawaii and you can taste it. My new favorite sushi spot in town. Dustin was also an absolutely incredible server, took great care of us and hope to see him next time we visit! Loved it

Great new sushi spot! Our waiter Ryan was very knowledgeable and recommend amazing sushi we had never tried before, ask to be in his section if you can. Very fresh, nice happy hour, validated parking, good for kids too. We will definitely be back

We went for all you can eat - the quality of the sushi is great and delicious. The inside is spacious and very air conditioned in the summer. The service was very slow and time consuming and we had to wait so long to receive our order and they missed a portion of our order. Would I go back? Maybe for the quality of the sushi, but the service and waiting was very frustratingly slow

We were walking past the restaurant and went in on a whim. It was late afternoon / happy hour so, not crowded.We both loved the restaurant atmosphere, food and drinks. Will definitely go back.

New spot open at 16th & Wewatta downtown -- and I'm always happy to have more sushi around!It's hard with competition like Blue Sushi Sake Grill just a few blocks away -- but here's how I think they stack up. I wish there were more fish/sashimi items on happy hour here (not just the tower and the basic rolls) -- but I also really like the quality of the fish here and availability of things like toro (tuna belly) and yellowtail belly -- neither of which Blue Sushi has. You also can't go wrong ordering your favorite sushi/sashimi a la carte -- and I highly recommend the toro (tuna belly) and yellowtail belly! Those aren't cuts everyone carries.Tasty non-fish items are also available, like the kobe hot rock ($30) and wagyu roll (seared table-side, $36).

I've walked by this place 20 times but went in for the first time tonight. The place was pretty quiet but everything was really good. The space has a great vibe & the server was fantastic. Nice, polite & just the right amount of attention. Had a light meal - snow crab summer rolls with mango were phenomenal. The wagyu gyoza were great too - the beef was good but the wrapper was incredible. Light & tender, just right to complement the filling. Also had the rainforest roll (at the server's recommendation) & it was quite good - nice balance of filling, rice & fish wrapper. I'll definitely be back!

INCREDIBLE sashimi! The quality of the fish is fantastic, and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Great cocktails. We had two rolls (Samurai roll and Spider roll) and they were amazing too. Can't recommend enough.

Excellent!!! I recently relocated to Denver and am lucky enough to live next door to The Blue Fish. Coming from So Cal I was a bit skeptical about how the quality and freshness would be in Denver and WOW have I been pleasantly surprised. Everything is fresh and flavorful and this is easily one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever eaten at. Service is great too! This has become my weekly go to! Oh yeah, locals get a discount on their meal too
