Ambiance: 100% the best decorated bar in the Spring area You enter through a door at the back of the building and are transported to the prohibition era. Flapper, glam decor, cozy chairs, and moody lighting makes The Blind Finch a romantic date night spot. The cocktail presentation, large bar area, and music selection creates an upscale atmosphere for parties, ladies night, or closing a deal. The cocktails are super unique and taste amazing. For the Spring area, I find the drinks to be quite pricey but worth it. Great location for a night cap. Limited food menu (mostly small bites). I did enjoy the deviled eggs - great for sharing. It really does feel like you've been transported somewhere much more magical than a random bar off FM-2920. It's also super dark inside so difficult to keep track of time (in the best way!) This is definitely a spot I would go back to if celebrating an occasion/wanting to impress an out-of-town or cocktail connoisseur friend. Parking does get difficult on weekends given that Thistle Drafthouse is right next door. Clean and private bathrooms. Plenty of spots for social media photos. FYI there is a dress code! My husband had to remove his hat (which IMO felt a little unnecessary given that it was 5pm on a Friday and jeans are allowed but I guess I understand wanting to keep a certain "look.")

Love the cocktails here! The staff is wonderful, everyone has always been so nice and accommodating. We have been a couple times and have had to wait a few minutes each time but it hasn't been much longer than 20 min each time we have had to wait. It's a cute little spot and the theme is fun. I think they could have played up the speakeasy spot a bit more based on other speakeasy spots we have been to around the country but overall it's a great find in spring and we love it!

We absolutely enjoyed our time. At the Blind Finch. The drinks were fantastic, service was wonderful, and the food was amazing! I love love love that it's on the North Side as well. The ambiance was truly a vibe. We went on a Friday and we're able to get in fairly quick with no reservation.

Tonight was my second visit to this speakeasy and I love it. The vibe is chill, a little funky and classy. The chairs are top notch whether you're at the bar or relaxing around a table. Tonight we had the bacon jam deviled eggs. If you have a desire for unique food blends, I recommend it. The service is great and if you need a late night boost I would other the rum pineapple espresso with coquito .

I really hate to do this because this place is so awesome and I want to keep it to myself!!!! BUTTTTT I owe to you to give you the best of the best! I will say this is a true speakeasy. It took us like 5 minutes to figure out how to get in. I'll save the fun for you! Once you find out how to get in this place is amazing. It has music and decor from the true speakeasy time. The drinks are handcrafted and delicious. Pack your patience because handcrafted drinks take time. The is the perfect date night spot! We will become regulars here!

Came here last night for the first time with friends who come here regularly. The decor and overall vibe is super cute. It's definitely small but that adds to the coziness and makes it feel more private. The drink menu is limited, but they will basically make you anything you want which is nice. I also liked that even though this place is more upscale, it still has a casualness to it. The couches are very comfy and I like that it's not loud so you can actually have conversations with people. I had the Aye Chihuahua which did not have anything spicy listed in the description, yet came out very very spicy. I still enjoyed it and drank the whole thing. My husband had an old fashioned and two God Fathers which he thoroughly enjoyed. The waiter who helped us was very sweet and told us about the Burlesque shows they have on Thursdays which sounded super fun. Will definitely be back to try more drinks.

So happy we 'found' this place! Atmosphere is amazing from the decor to the music- everything was spot on what you'd want and expect from a speakeasy. For drinks we tried the Godfather, the Golden Letter, 7 Spanish Rabbit & the Texas Coffee-- all delicious! For food we had the small charcuterie board (not too small, plenty of food for a few people to share) and the Deviled Eggs which were SO good. Staff was friendly and service was quick! Definitely will be making this a regular spot!

On the hunt for speakeasies? Look no further than The Blind Finch! No really you got to look for this place! So well hidden finding it was our favorite part! When we did the inside did not disappoint! It's like being in the 1920s for real! A nice spot for a pre dinner drink or drinks with a few apps. The wait staff was friendly and concocted our drinks with love!

The location is a Speakeasy. The front looks closed as the entrance is in the back. Seating is open and the staff will come to you. The decor is lounge chair and love seats and seating at the bar. The food is limited to 5 snack items. The drinks are handcrafted so patience is needed and it is noted for new comers. There is a doorman after a certain time to greet people who come.
