Where to start? I am a regular visitor at Big Easy. I found this place years ago when I started dancing next door. It is a family friendly restaurant and bar with a Cajun flare. Want sports? TV screens everywhere, games on all the time. LIke the Packers? THey have a fan base? Pats fan like me? Yep, got them too.The menu is great, from shrimp and grits, to Jambalaya, to Burgers, to Fish. OMG, after several years I still havent tried it all. I love their French Dip and for variety they roll out a new list of Special items every month. Are you into Karaoke? Twice a month on Fridays, tune up your voice and sing. (PLEASE TUNE IT UP). It is open seating, so no waiting for a table. Thats's a good thing. I hate when I get stuck in a corner where it feels like I am invisbile. So pick your own. Nice weather seating out font or on their patio. Come in and find your happy place. Staff are incredible. I won't name them all but I guarantee there will be a smile behind them. IPA'S? Got 'em. SPecial drinks? Me, I am an NA beer drinker. Ben, the manager has brought in the latest and greatest and they all aim to make it a great experience. No fights, no taunting. Just fun. They even host larger groups for birthday parties, and other group events. Just ask the manager about it.Try it out. I am not a bot. I am not a marketing contributor. Just a loyal fan. Tell them Brian sent you. They may smile with pride,

We celebrated here after a friends intimate wedding ceremony. We had a reservation and were a few minutes late but they were very accommodating even with us being late. The restaurant was nice but didn't give me the "Cajun Vibe" for lack of a better term. It felt more country bar/restaurant. Overall it was a nice space. Our servers were great and very attentive to our party of 11. The table had various plates including a couple Taste of Louisianas, the Beef Brisket Sandwich, and Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. Our starters were the fried pickles, nachos, and the Brussel Sprouts and they were all delicious. The Brussel sprouts had a nice kick to them. My dish was the Salmon Lafayette, Seasoned Rice, and Mixed Vegetables and I also ordered a side of the She Crab soup. The salmon was cooked well but severely under seasoned. It had no flavor at all except the typical salmon taste, same goes for the rice; very under seasoned. The mixed vegetables were cooked perfectly and seasoned well, and the She Crab Soup was immaculate. The corn muffin was to die for.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and most of the table loved their dishes. We will definitely be back to try other menu items!

I would probably go with 3.5 stars. We stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch. It's right next door to the tire store. We got new tires in my car while we ate lunch. It's a nice little restaurant. Seat yourself. The menu was pretty big. I had the Reuben. It was a Turkey Reuben and was quite yummy. The fries were also good.Hubby had half a Muffaletta. Would not recommend this one. We were spoiled at Central Grocery in New Orleans. A Muffaletta should be served on soft bread. This bread was crunchy. The toppings were kind of sparse. Service was good even though it did seem like they were short handed on staff.

TL;DR - way better food and service than a pub should have. This place is a winner - except on Karaoke nights! We've ordered delivery from Big Easy dozens of times (always amazing) and finally decided to come in person. Just to get it out of the way - every other Friday night is karaoke and it's insanely loud and impossible to tolerate during a meal. Come one of the other 13 nights and you will be thrilled Our server, Jaelyn, was an absolute gem. She actually kept us there when the noise was driving us out by moving us to a table outside where the noise level was tolerable. Super friendly, knows the menu, not afraid to make recommendations or steer you away from bad decisions (for example don't take the bananas foster to go - eat it here) and really attentive even when splitting her time between inside and outside tables. We also met Ben the manager who was a great host and nice guy. Once he gets the Karaoke volume under control he'll be an even bigger winner Now for the food - I just don't understand how this little pub can consistently turn out such inspired and amazing food at these affordable prices. But after 3 years it's clear they are doing something right. Cajun standards like gumbo (both seafood and chicken), jambalaya and crawfish etoufee are on point. Native Louisianans probably want more heat, but ample hot sauce makes that easy. The Texas style beef chili is the best in the triangle. Honorable mentions to the fried okra and oysters - and to the surprisingly crisp and delicious sweet potato fries! We will definitely be back - both for dine-in and for delivery.

Service: Nicole was super nice - 10/10Appetizers:She Crab Soup | 4.5/10 | I would not consider this she crab soup by any means. It's more of a southwest crab soup. The corn muffin that comes with it is amazing. Mini Crab Poppers | 7.5/10 | a little too soft but flavor with a good amount of crabEntrees:Shrimp & Alligator Po Boy | 6.8/10 | the fries are just like 5 Guys! The shrimp was fried perfectly. The gator was a little greasy. The remoulade was good A Taste of Louisiana | 7/10 The Gumbo is flavored well just needs a little salt and pepper, and the same goes for the red beans and rice, The Jambalaya however wasn't goodOverall: 7/10 - I wouldn't rush back but I would return

Looking for a place to eat while in North Carolina and found this restaurant, that was not far from the hotel we were staying at. We asked the concierge and he said he had heard good things about this place. We took a shared ride and located in a shopping plaza you will find this restaurant. We were welcomed upon entering and found a table with no issues. Looking over the menu there are extensive options to choose from. I decided on the Jambalaya Pasta. I was curious to try this as I enjoy jambalaya and wasn't sure how this would taste. Well, this dish was wow!!!! The mixture of "trinity vegetables" with the Cajun cream sauce is amazing!!! I savored every bite as I tried to figure out how I could replicate this dish at home. Perfect blend and every bite was delicious. We also t had a dessert, the Bananas Foster, but I forgot to take a picture. This dessert was the perfect combination and every bite was perfect. Sometimes desserts are hit or miss, but this was a hit! This dessert is a bead pudding served warm with the bananas foster on top and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A bit of banana pudding, bananas, and ice cream are heavenly. Don't miss out on this dessert!! The restaurant is casual and the staff were friendly and attentive. I'd recommend this if you are in the area.

Great food. Had the brisket nachos and fried oysters. Both worth getting again. Food came out fast and they took the Yelp free drink coupon. Service really could have been a little better. Waitress was more interested in the tv than making sure the customers were taken care of.

Never have tried real typical Louisiana food before this day, but was very surprised! First time trying alligator and it did not disappoint. Ambiance was nice and service as well, and food tasted really good!

Had been a while since we had been back. I'm not sure why, but everything was excellent. Had the She Crab Soup followed by Crawfish Etouffee. Both are packed with flavor and delicious. The service was awesome, Nicole P. honestly might have been the best server I've ever had in my life. We will definitely make this a regular spot again.
