Three point five stars for a neighborhood restaurant that provides good (and sometimes great eats) at a good price.I have been to this establishment a few times on the weekends. The place is always packed on Saturday. It's one of those spots where they know the customers because they're repeat customers, which I think is always a good sign. It is very lively and it has the typical diner vibe and decor. The service employees are always talkative and friendly. I have only ordered their breakfast items. My go to is the bagel egg sandwich. Good bagels, from the little I know about New York bagels, I wouldn't say they are New York style but they are good. I have tried one of the baked goods at the front counter, the rugelauch, I believe. The sandwiches are always good and filling but the reason I gave them 3 instead of 4 stars is because some of the times there was issues with my order. When you put in an order for a sandwich you have the option to order your eggs soft scrambled. The first time I did this (and almost every other time) it was amazing, really well done. But one of the last times I asked for this my eggs we cooked so hard they has brown spots. The last time I was in there, I asked for cream cheese instead of the sliced cheese that comes with the sandwich and I got no cheese. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be returning but maybe just check your order before you leave.

Staff is great, and the interior decoration is spot on with many memorable local sports moments (and national). Great quality food too.

I've been coming here for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. My go to is the soup and half sandwich and I can honestly say they have the best matzoh ball soup in the area. I like that they aren't stingy with the meat in their deli sandwiches. Service always is fast and friendly. They recently extended their hours which makes it convenient for vampires like myself that work the night shift and sleep during the day.

This is a cheery NY style deli. It's very clean inside and the staff is very helpful. I believe they took the space over from another restaurant that had been there. We (3 of us) were seated immediately and ordered our drinks. Then we looked at the menu and decided we would have breakfast instead of lunch.I had the BIG APPLE SPECIAL$ 13.95 - 2 eggs any style, with home fried potatoes, tomato, oatmeal or grits, choice of bacon, sausage, ham steak or turkey bacon, bagel or toast & coffee. I decided on scrambled eggs, homefries, sausage and a bagel. When I ordered, I said " please don't make my scrambled eggs hard - I like them a bit soft. " Our server said "Oh no problem - I'll tell the cook." A different person brought my plate over, and the scrambled eggs were so over cooked they were in separate pieces like marbles. They looked awful. Everything else looked fine. I asked for our server and when she came over, I asked her to please make again. The 2nd plate of scrambled eggs was light and fluffy and very good. However, the sausage had no flavor, the home fries were a bit burnt and very greasy. The bagel was cold. I was only able to eat the eggs, and a few homefries before I just gave up. My sister had MAKE YOUR OWN OMELETTE - $13.95 - 3 Egg omelette, 4 greens, a breakfast side, toast or bagel. She ordered a Western omelette with mozzarella cheese, oatmeal for her side and toast. Her omelette was very overcooked and hard, the oatmeal was in a big bowl and was barely warm. The toast was fine. The other person ordered the omelette breakfast. She was also not happy with her food.All of us agreed it was not very good. When they came to clear the table, all of us had mostly full plates. They never noticed or commented and just took it away. The service was sporadic after they brought the drinks and we also waited for the check. I finally asked the manger if he would bring us the bill.I don't know if it was a bad day or not. I saw other people eating eggs and they were ALL overcooked. You get a lot of food, but if it's not good, who cares? I would not return as there are far too many delis/breakfast places to bother going back.

Best tuna ever. Very much open. The location has changed. New location at 11064 Biscayne. Still same great food run by the same great NY Mike. A must try.

My husband and I love coming here for breakfast! It's super tasty and always hits the spot, The portions are great - I always leave happy and content!

Have to admit that we did carry out but the food was perfect. Fabulous cob salad, great corn beef and turkey sandwiches. Hard to find a good deli these days. Everything was well packed and will be back soon.

Updated menu pic. Came here for the Greek salad. Very fast, friendly, respectful service. Order portion is large, wroth the price. Will return to try the rest of the menu & sit in the restaurant, very quite comfortable inside seating.

Saw this deli and decided to stop in. Now I have to say the food was very good AND the portions very generous. We had stuffed cabbage and a tuna melt. Both were absolutely delicious! The service was also as good as it could be given they were short staffed; 2 waitresses and a food runner/ busboy/assistant. Even under those circumstances, they were polite and helpful. SOOOOOO you might ask, given all that why only a 2 rating?! Because the man behind the counter (who we assumed was the owner) was handling food with no gloves on. He was making sandwiches, wiped his brow, then right back to preparing the food. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable!!I guess if you're not having something cold that isn't already prepared, you might be good; however, if the owner doesn't practice cleanliness, how do his employees behave?

Beat sandwiches in Miami. Team is great and provides an excellent service. I highly recommend it.
