The Bar

This place is awesome. Their vibes are super cool. The drinks and bar bites are both very enjoyable. The staff is also very kind and respectful.

I just came in there was no bouncer at the door... so he chased us down and asked for our ID.Went to the bar and the blonde bartender id'd me again.I couldn't wear my hoodie?? Idk why it was empty They don't have many selections of drinks

Their bar food is good Had their Buffalo wings and chicken fingers with fries. It was all very good and tasty.Their service is always on point. We've been going to this bar for years now and it's never disappointed.I love the ambiance of this bar. The have music for everyone. You have three different areas to hang out in and around the bar. I recently came here to watch an Arsenal soccer game as this is a bar that supports the team here in Miami. What a fun time! It honestly felt like I was back in college. Of course, not the college bar prices. I can't speak to what it's normally like as I came Saturday mid day to watch a game and then again yesterday around the same time, but the vibe was really fun! Service was a bit slow to get a drink, but it was pretty packed. I tried the " Award Winning Wings" as well. $16 for 10 and we did 5 Asian style and 5 lemon pepper. Pretty good!

If you're like me and love dive bars, I've got a place for you. I was in town for a wedding and visited here a couple nights with some locals. I am so glad we went, this place is a riot!Music is amazing and there's plenty of room for dancing.The staff is also great, I can say enough about how well they handled the dense crowd. Bathrooms were clean and well attended to.No issues at all. We did not get a chance to eat here.

Oh, The Bar. I have been coming here for years and I warn all who wander in to exercise caution. Will you have a fabulous time and love everything the DJ plays? Absolutely. Will you dance like no one is watching, despite the dance floor being packed? Yes, yes you will. But, because the pours are STRONG and the music is great...the end of the night will likely be a total mystery when you eventually wake up at 12 pm the next day. How many gin and tonics were consumed? Whose bed is this? What happened to my shoes? All these questions are ones I've asked myself after a night out at The Bar. Since I moved back to Coral Gables in 2021, this bar has been responsible for a good 80%-85% of all the hangovers I've experienced since then. So enjoy your time here...but enjoy responsibly.

This tavern has been here since the 60's. It's a local Coral Gables place, and has a great bar with good bar food. Tavern tavern. Weekends it has a front door guy, since the turned the street into a pedestrian area it now has outdoor seating with service (so you can bring your dog).

Came to this bar on a Friday night around 8pm. It wasn't packed yet so that was nice. The staff was all dressed up for Hallo-weekend so that was cool. It all went downhill when the bartender dressed up like gladiator made us terrible shots with an attitude. Then I ordered a draft beer and it was warm. I told me friends and they had been told by another bartender that they didn't have draft because it was down. So why did this guy sell me a beer knowing the taps were down? Either way their beers were warm too. We also ordered an app and that was okay. We ended up going back to Coyo Taco's secret lounge were the music, service, food and drinks were way better. I wouldn't go back to The Bar. I don't care that it's a "staple" in Coral Gables. It was awful.

One of my favorite watering holes. Great happy hour, specially with Carlos on the helm. Backyard and front promenade is where it's at. Jeremy and his crew are top notch! Say hi to the bald dude too!

The Bar is a fantastic spot with great vibes, amazing drinks, and friendly staff. The atmosphere is always on point, and it's the perfect place to hang out with friends or unwind after a long day. I've been here several times, and everything is always top-notch--except for the Saturday DJ. While the music is usually great throughout the week, the Saturday DJ's set doesn't quite match the energy of the place and can be a bit of a letdown. Other than that, it's still one of my favorite spots!
