The Bar at Friends Uncorked

Good wine, great burger, excellent/friendly staff and live music!!!! Equals a fantastic evening. Happy birthday jordon!! Galveston has to wait...

We were excited for a Friday night outdoor dinner when the weather was nice, and found this place with a Google search. We were shocked when we arrived at the small amount of people there--only one other customer. The menu looks amazing. The Cowboy Caviar was fabulous and the drinks were good--but our entrees were underwhelming. The sandwiches were basically meat, melted cheese and bread. The tables were dirty outside, I know it's hard to keep them clean, but a lot of restaurants keep them wiped down. Service was OK. Mosquitoes were bad and the outdoor areas was unkept-- most likely why there are mosquitoes, lots of kegs and barrels, which probably have standing water. When you walk through the restaurant, you see a storage room with an open door which was very cluttered and not appealing. And the bathroom was dirty. We will not return.

I came here right before everything went to hell with Covid this year. I really really enjoyed this cute tucked away bar. The bartender was super sweet and informative. He let us try a sample of some beer and we loved it. Well I stuck to wine, but my friend enjoyed the beer. If I wouldn't have been invested in wine that night, I would have drank the beer though, just so we're clear. This was a nice place to sit and talk or sip and talk. They had a band playing in the main room. We were in the cozy back room scaring ourselves with a door that kept opening on its own. No... we weren't drunk. Outside was really nice and homezy (ya I'm gonna make up that word). It felt like you were at your friends backyard get together. We ended up staying inside, because there was no one out there, and it was cold. But Covid was already starting to keep a lot of people away at this point, so I can imagine there being more people once things settle down. It's really a cute hangout spot. It reminded me a lot of something you would see in the heights area. Definitely a nice spot to hang.

Went for first time last week. Nice cozy atmosphere. Good entertainment. A good place to gather with friends.

Love it at this cute little place! The food is fantastic (one of the best Reubens around!) and I love the live music they often have. It's just as cozy inside as it is outside. The staff is fabulous- it feels more like going over a friend's house than out to a restaurant. Perfect place for wine night out with girlfriends; they have a great variety and awesome happy hour deals too!

Love this wine bar. I visit with my girlfriends often. They've got live music, great selection of wines and tapas.

Neat place we had an after party following a wedding. Good people and a real friendly clientele.

This place has taken a downward turn. Not alot of wine options and the options are not good. Just doesn't have a lot of appeal.

Great local place! Some good snacks and great wine selection. It's changing owners so follow Facebook more than their website.
