Need a quick bite and don't want to wait for a pizza to cook? Don't want to wait in lines & also don't want old pizza?? Come here!!!The pizza was hot and fresh. Lots of people popping in and out, parking curbside with their flashers on just run in to grab a few slices or even a to go order. That's how you know it's fast! Staff was super nice, pizza was the bomb, & plenty of little tables inside if you want to sit and eat too! Only downfall was there is no restroom for customers but that is pretty common in small restaurants like this. They also had a few dessert items and drinks to choose from. We would definitely come back!!

Our cashier was super nice and helpful when we were trying to decide what to order! It was my second time trying deep dish pizza AND WOW the crust was beautifully crisp. When we went somewhere else, we were dissatisfied with the product BUT THIS PLACE has restored my cravings for this dish! Also--how are the cakes here THIS GOOD? The chocolate cake was rich and slightly dark, and the carrot cake was perfectly airy and moist (better than some places that claim to be a bakery). This might be my new go-to spot for cake!

Stopped here before a Soldier Field Concert because Lou's down the street had 1 1/4 wait for Pizza. This restaurant cooks their Pizza, puts it on a rack, and sells it by the slice. Looks like the turnover is fast so the pizza is fresh enough.Ordered Art's special Stuffed Pizza. This pizza had Green Peppers, Onion and sausage. It was ok for what it was. Drinks were normal fountain drinks but refills were a dollar.The restaurant was clean and the tables turn quickly since it is not a place to lounge around and eat.For a quick slice Thin, Pan or Stuffed this place is good enough.

While I came to Chicago (in part) for the renowned deep dish pizzas, one of my best slices came from The Art of Pizza's. I got a thin crust slice of "Art's Special" and almost came back for more before continuing on my food tour. Excellent!

The pizza itself was alright. We tried 4 different Chicago deep dish pizzas and this place was our 3rd pick. We did the deep dish special and the stuffed special. Both were good and reminded us of focaccia. The service is fast and the place is a no frills place which reminds me of old school pizza places from the 90s back home (New York)On a scale of 1-10, we said that we would have rated their pizza a 3.5

My wife and I are in Chicago for the 1st time. Of course, we had to try authentic Chicago deep dish pizza at Malnati's, and it was OK, but the pepperoni was barely there and the sausage was indistinguishable. We decided to try the "Art of Pizza" and our taste buds were suddenly rejuvenated!! The cheese tasted better, and the pepperoni was incredibly delicious!!! The price was unbelievably affordable!! Great job done by Bernice at the register!! This was what I was expecting out of Chicago!! We'll be back!!

Pizza is what you would expect from a pizza by the slice pizza place. It was not great. If you are here visiting and want to try deep dish pizza this is not the place to go. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other sit down restaurants. You order from the counter and they give you a precooked slice. They have a decent amount of seating. If you want a quick slice of mediocre pizza, this is the place for you. I would not recommend or come back again.

I had read this pizzeria served pizza by the slice and like to check out new pizza places while in Chicago. It is a very unassuming small restaurant with only a few tables. Most patrons were ordering slices to-go as it was quite busy when I stopped by late Saturday afternoon. They offer thin crust, thick crust, and stuffed crust (the traditional "Chicago" pizza with the sauce on the top). Prices vary from $5-7 a slice. They did not offer a large variety of pies (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and a specialty 'za), but sometimes sticking to the basics is best. It made for quick service despite the long line.I order a pepperoni deep dish and my husband had sausage thin crust. Our total was just over $10. The size of the slices were very generous. My deep dish was AMAZING! Chewy, flavorful crust, lots of cheese and pepperoni, A+ sauce. I was stuffed after my piece. My husband thought his thin crust was one of the best he has ever had. If only there were not so many amazing restaurants in Chicago, we would have definitely stopped by to try the stuffed crust before leaving the city. It is on my "to-do" list for next time. Recommend if you are in the area, especially if you are on a budget and in a hurry.

We walked all over freakin' town looking for this place because we wanted a by the slice option that had varying types of pizza, and it did not disappoint. When we got there, there was a line out the door (good sign) but they move the line super fast. The toppings were fresh, and they're obviously busy enough that the pizza stays fresh. We ordered one of each type and we liked all of them. Would stop here again.

The cashier was very unprofessional and couldn't figure out how to fix the card machine. She wouldn't add anything to the pizza and wouldn't have it reheated. When we asked, she looked at us like we were crazy and were such an inconvenience. We planned on eating there but changed our mind and got to go. Pizza was decent, fine for a Sunday quick bite.
