The Anime Bar

This place is awesome! I went yesterday Doe the grand opening and it was cool! That night they had giveaways and karaoke which they plan to have regularly. They also plan to do car meet starting October and anime watch nightsIt's nice to have a place to need out and feel accepted. The owner, bartenders and DJ were friendly. They have a Few character inspired drinks. I.e. The Sonic, the super Saiyan and Sasuke I can't wait till they expand their menu and have more. They also have food which is limited to Karaage and Goyza

This has been my go to spot after a long week of work. I enjoy the atmosphere since I'm part of the target audience. Travis, who manages the open video game area in the back, is an awesome host. I recommend the sauced chicken tenders if you want to grab a bite, it always comes out hot, fresh, and juicy.

Finally stepped in this new place close to me and I was a bit disappointed. The bar itself is a great layout with karaoke and screens showing UFC fights and they also showed the Canelo fight. The down fall is the food and drinks. I paid $11 for popcorn chicken that you could tell it was just popped in the microwave. Half of my order was cold and gross. The drinks are also overpriced. The day I went two people were carried out and just had them by the front door and they had vomited everywhere and it smelled gross.

Been here a few times with my husband and it really just doesn't appeal to us. The decor and lighting inside is pretty nice and there's a lot of space to just sit and chill but it was a bit too nerdy. I know it's called "anime bar" but the people don't always have to be so "anime" lol. Just not the vibe

I love anime so when I was visiting Houston and found this bar in the area I was excited to check it out!The vibe was immaculate. I loved the giant figurines of dbz characters, the manga & merch, the giant projection screen playing anime ( I just wished we could've heard it better and music wasn't playing over it). Overall the decor hit the nail on the head. We went on a quiet night so it was just us and a couple other people there. The drinks were on theme & were very delicious but the food was a bit overpriced for some chicken nuggets & fries.

Really dope spot with plenty of potential. Drinks are good and the staff are friendly. Came in on a Thursday night and the place wasn't packed. Wished he had more time to check it out on the weekend. Shoutout to the dope lead bartender Joey! She was super friendly and kept the drinks coming. Definitely recommend coming to check the place out. Very interested in their loyalty program and all the merch. All the DBZ huge figurines are flowing in from Japan.

The Anime Bar truly exceeded expectations in delivering a memorable and immersive experience.The Anime Bar offered a selection of themed drinks and snacks inspired by One Piece. While they were creative and fun, they were a bit limited in variety. It would have been great to see a broader range of options, but it didn't diminish the overall enjoyment of the event.The event also featured interactive activities, such as trivia and cosplay contests, which added to the entertainment. These activities fostered a sense of community among attendees who share a passion for anime.My visit to The Anime Bar for the One Piece Live Action event was an unforgettable experience for any anime fan. The venue's dedication to creating an immersive atmosphere, combined with exclusive content and engaging activities, made it a night to remember.If you're a fan of anime, The Anime Bar is a must-visit destination. Very on theme. My cousin took me and it's a beautiful bar with giant anime figurines where you can play vigilantes on projector or do karaoke.

Staff seems to be overwhelmed with a small crowd. The bartender somehow had time to make off menu items for the people directly in front of me, however when I was up snatched the menu out of my hand and handed me the menu pictured. When I asked about the drinks he'd just made he said they were only 3 ingredients... I asked for a two ingredient drink he pointed at the special menu and told me 'there's a crowd now'. The crowd was EXACTLY the same at it was 30 seconds prior... when he made the other '3 ingredient' drinks. They were mojitos. In what world is a mojito quicker than a jack n coke? A picture of the 'crowd' and available menu is included. There were 3-4 bartenders. I didn't want Boba with vodka cause I'm a sane person so went back to my seat. My friend chased a waitress down (quite literally) after we were ignored for 30+ minutes of them having empty glasses and me still not having anything. They let her know about the bartender being so absurd and ordered themselves something off the limited menu. She came back later to let me know 'the manager wants to know what you want them to do' or something along those lines... the whole thing was ridiculous considering there MAY have been 100 people in the whole bar and half of them were playing video games in the back. I don't recommend this place for service, or a good time at all. The decor is cute if you're into that. I ended up staying about an hour and spending $0 here. I won't be back.

Invited for a birthday celebration and it's a nice vibe. The Host for Karaoke was awesome! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because it took so long to order and get your drink. I'm thinking the bartender was just new. He was awesome and made good drinks it just took like 20+ min to get 1 drink.
