The Angry Waffle

I placed an order thru Grub Hub and it was never picked up. I had to call the Restaurant which is only around the corner from my house. I call and she says it hasn't been picked up yet I hit the ready button. No sooner then I hung up a driver was going there to get it. I don't believe she hit the ready button at all. When my food arrived it was cold and the potatoes tasted chewy like they were old. The omelet was good. So I have mixed reviews and may give them another chance! Toast could of used more butter, everything was packaged nicely with utensils and condiments.

Date of service 11/10/2023The veggies in the omelette need to be diced, smaller the home fries need to be slice smaller the butter do not melt. I don't know what it is but it doesn't melt even if you put it in the microwave. This is my first time trying this place and my last time. the kitchen didn't look too clean. NO ONE had on hair nets This place can use a REAL chef

This little section of 52nd street is growing considering 3 new restaurants have touched down in the last year. (Tasties, Vegan-ish, and some other one I forgot the name of). And now we have the Angry Waffle which I was really looking forward to. The menu was pretty simple with options of waffles (of course) and all the usual toppings to choose from along with, chicken fingers, wing digs, and an assortment of omelettes. I wound up getting the wing digs and waffles along with a tomato and spinach omelette.I really enjoyed my omelette. Everything tasted as good as it looked. The wing dings were surprisingly super crispy and cooked perfectly. The only thing missing was the WAFFLE. I wish I could review it, but the waffle never came even after reminding staff about it. They asked if I wanted it to go, but waffles to-go aren't a thing for a reason.

Food is just okay. Can be very greasy but this place is convenient and the staff is nice so I go there in a pinch. I personally don't like much of their food. I got potatoes today and asked that be well done. They were nearly soaked in grease. I put them in the air fryer to save them and shouldn't have to do that. Giving 3 stars because it's not the worst food I've ever had and the place is usually clean so kudos to them for that.

Just left there. Order was all wrong and they charged me $20 for two beef beacon egg/cheese on croissant, a coffee and jumbo ice tea. Food is nasty, dried out and looks old. Never going back

The Angry Waffle is amazing! My girlfriend and I got brunch on Saturday morning and it was so delicious. Her chicken and waffles was out of this world and my omelette and home fries were delish. Service was great and fast considering how busy they were and we overall had an awesome time. Cash only but they have an ATM!
