If for any reason you are in the Bunn-Louisburg area this place is well worth a stop. Jamaican food served as it should be, full of flavor and a great value. This aint no Bahama Breeze, this is a very good version of the real deal served up in atmosphere with a bunch of " yardie character". Opted for the jerk chicken and oxtail, rounded out with rice and peas and mac n cheese. Both dishes were generous portions that far outwieghed the cost. The jerk chicken is a wet version with distinct notes of allspice, nutmeg and clove which rounded out to little tang and very faint heat. The oxtail were big meaty peices with a rich, but not overpowering jamaican brown sauce. Sides were also on point, very home-made mac and cheese and rice and peas smoothed out the very flavorful jamaican flavors. This is a to go spot. Call ahead to be sure they are open and bring cash.

First, do not expect this to be "fast food". If you want the "quick" experience, call ahead then pick it up. This is also, not the sit down experience. If you don't mind waiting for your order, there are pool tables inside if you want to pass the time. Next, they have a 100% health rating. (May not matter to some, but important to me.)They offer Caribbean food. They make the best beef patties I have had since my trip to Jamaica in 2009. Believe me, I have tried quite a few beef patties. The wings are pretty good. And I hear they have a pretty good cheese steak. I have eaten there twice in the last month. The people that run the place are very personable.

We had a wonderful meal prepared by Mark and his wife the super chef! First Mango Wings with pumpernickel bread and then Oxtails and Curry Chicken. It was amazingly delicious. I would definitely recommend this spot. Full of flavor and super nice too boot!

This is what Bunn needed. A place to have a great meal without having to travel to Wake Forest or Raleigh. Great food in a small town environment. Thank you Russ and staff.

The food was great. Tasted like I was back home in the Bronx. Unfortunately they are closing by December. I tried the curry chicken and rice the first time plus Jamaican patty. Next time curry goat and jerk chicken. Winnie and Marc are so down to earth. Five stars for me.

I had seen this place here before and I would always just go by it. Today, I decided to give it a try and see how it went from there. I do give it a 3.7 out of 5 stars. Since it was good but it did lack in some things. I've spilt my view into three different ones the food, place, and staff. The Food: I got the Jerk chicken meal and the Goat meal both with fried plantains and rice w/ beans. The jerk chicken was okay but i don't know the chicken tasted a little off to me. Not completely what I expected. The seasoning that was on top of the chicken was good and had a little tang to it too. The fried plantains were good. I really liked them. They were soft and sweet. The goat dish that I got was a lot better than the jerk chicken to be honest. It smelled great and it came with some nicely cooked potatoes too. Overall, I definitely recommend the goat dish over the chicken as in my opinion I wasn't a big fan of the chicken itself which had nothing to do with the sauce. The sauce was good. The place: The vibe of the outside is a little meh not really a place you'd think would sell food. Once you walk in you see a combination of like a little store and a place to hang out, play pool, order and listen to music. It would be nice if they had A/C inside that way it's not so hot when waiting for ones order or just killing time and playing. One more thing when you walk in there is like a seldom smell of cigarette smoke. So if that bothers you a little I would just recommend you either send someone else in on your behalf or order/ get what you need and wait outside. They do have chairs outside and a table for you to use. Another thing you could do is just order ahead and pay directly that way you won't have to be there for too long. The staff: Honestly, they were really nice and easy to talk to as well. If you do have any question either about the food or the items in the store they are more than willing to help you.
