The Abbey Pub

It's not located on Abbey Road, if it was, it'd be more expensive, and in London.So I love the girls working here, drinks are okay in terms of prices, and they have some cool local (loud) live music, which for me is the main selling point. Not everyone is friendly and the food is okay, but there's not a lot of great bars and pubs in Houston and so this is kind of a good spot, especially for the music and waitresses.

That was absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Don't make something open to the public if ALL are not welcome. All we wanted to do was sing some karaoke!!! The manager tonight with the dreads is a complete jack hole..."beloved" as he kept ending all of his sentences...and you know who I'm talking about! Worst EVER!!!!!!!! Go back to Arkansas I was told!!!????!!!!?!???!! Goodbye, good night and good riddance. Surprised y'all stayed open during the past year! SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!That was absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Stopped by here to meet a friend for happy hour on a Wednesday there wasn't much happening. This seems more like a place you'd go if you're trying to avoid people. Typical drink selection for a dive bar so nothing to worry about there but overall the prices are very reasonable. I probably won't be back anytime soon but mainly because I can find closer dive bars to where I live so there's no need to drive further. If you live in the area and you're looking for a place where no one is gonna find you then you've found the right place. -McLovin

Visiting from out of town and wanted a bite to eat. The burgers were okay. Nothing to rave about. Bartenders were attentive. Karaoke night was fun. I didn't participate but it was still comical.

I love this Bar! Music:They have a good selection of bands that play here often and some crazy events like the upcoming "Extreme Midget Wrestling" lol. There is a great music player that allows you to choose music from a very wide selection. It looks like a giant iPod haha. So the music can be hit or miss with you personally unless you are the one choosing music. It's cheap to choose song too, like a buck.Atmosphere:The place has been remodeled and isn't smokey/dark as it was in the past. Girls' bathrooms are always clean, can't speak for the guys' bathroom as I don't know. Pool & darts seem to be popular here too.Quality:The drinks have become much cheaper in the last few years. I love their drink specials because they are relevant. They don't do any of that random ass drink special that no one will ever order stuff. Their well drinks are always affordable and shots are decently priced. I've always been able to have a lot of fun there with out breaking my bank.Things to note/rave/rant:I had part of my bachelorette party here and they let us decorate and reserve a few tables for my girls and I. People to note/rave/rant:If you go there ask for Rachel, she's an awesome bartender! She also screens the bands and events.

Loved the food and atmosphere. Just needed a place to relax and play some pool. Would Definitely recommend this place if you are looking to just chill and have some drinks.

My 3rd bar in my pub crawl. Remember those bar and grills from the tv shows in the 60s and 70s? That what this place reminds me of. Friendly bartender but a lot of regulars just huddled to themselves. It may be better at night(I was there at 145) try it and see and let me know brave soul.

Casual and fun loving ambience. Enjoyed the live music and wonderful service from Shelby.

The service is great, the atmosphere is good but the food is nothing to really brag about. It's the usual bar food. I ordered a BLT, thinking it would be a usual sandwich but it came out on a very hard roll. Not very edible.

One of my new favorite spots. The atmosphere is ideal and drinks are perfect. All the bartenders I've met have been really cool and they really know what they're doing. Great, affordable fun.
