Service was good. Food was great! Surprisingly the place was pretty empty when we went. We did the 20$ lunch menu & it was worth it!- Thai Tea 10/10- Pandan Tea 8/10- Dumplings 7/10- Chicken Satay 8/10- Eggrolls 7/10- Panang Curry 8.5/10- Tom Yum Noodles 8/10

The employees are friendly and the interior decor is so nice! Pearland has so many new restaurants but I definitely recommend this one. It remind me of madame Thai in Austin! The pad Thai was sooooo good! Love the flavors! Forgot to get a picture but will be back again soon! Of course, you can't go wrong with their Thai tea. I was craving Thai for months and my cravings were met. Left satisfied and very full!

The curry was amazing! Went there with my Mom and we had the Panang and Red curry. My mom loved it so much she got seconds to go. The portions or very good too.

This is a nice restaurant that's quiet (although we were there late afternoon) with friendly service. The appetizer (darlin' dumplings) was very good but our main courses were just average (spicy basil fried rice and cranky crab fried rice). The portions were huge and although we ordered spicy (3 and 4 heat ratings) the taste was very mild. We might come back.

I have gone to ThaiCoon in Pearland twice since it opened. Both times, I was greeted promptly on entering the restaurant and seated right away. The wait staff was very attentive both times. The ambiance was a bit quiet for me, especially for being a small space but otherwise it was pleasant.I ordered the money bags both times which were delicious and a filling snack. I ordered the Thai Larb with Filet Mignon the first time. It was delicious. It's a simple dish but really hits the spot for me. The second time I ordered the Blooming Pad Thai with Shrimp. I was blown away by the presentation and the taste was amazing as well. I chose the highest possible spice level and it tasted great to me. Another thing that I liked was that they carried one of my favorite Japanese Whiskeys at the bar. Pricey at $30+ dollars a pour but tastes so good. I'll be back for sure, to try all the curries, pork belly and Tamarind Duck Thigh. Looking forward to being a returning customer.

Hubs and I stumbled upon this place with an A courtesy of the city of Pearland. Very clean, and the elephant decorations wowed me. We came during happy hour. I wasn't too happy to see that the menu only had shots and beer and certain appetizers. I ordered the happy hour dumplings, firecracker shrimp, and the regular money bags appetizer. My drink was a Dreamsicle. The Hubs ordered salmon skins as an appetizer ( not on HH menu) and the seafood mix fried rice pineapple. His drink, of course, was an Old Fashioned. The food was an 8 out of 10. The money bags bka crab rangoons had way too much cream cheese and less crab. Salmon skin were good and the Hubs enjoyed his pineapple. Drinks were delicious 10/10 and the Hubs complimented his drink as on point.

Came here on a Sunday evening and was seated right away. I had a hangry toddler on my hands so I ordered a dumpling appetizer for him soon after sitting down. We also ordered the drunken noodles and yellow curry as an entre. I thought the appetizer was taking a while and it wound up coming out with the entrees. Which usually isn't a big deal to me buuuut a hangry toddler is a handful. Thankfully the staff were all super nice and a few of them came by to interact with him to help keep him occupied. The dumplings were my favorite. Very tasty and cooked perfectly. All the portion sizes were pretty good. The curry and noodles were nice but to me nothing really stood out about them from any other Thai restaurant in the area. I had wanted more rice for my curry but more tables had been seated and our server was busy and did not come back by until dropping off the check. All in all this is a decent choice if you are wanting Thai food.

I ordered door dash from this restaurant for the first time. I have a 3 star because I was not super happy with the portion size. They charged almost $4 extra for fried rice instead of white and they did not give a lot. As for entree I ordered a level 3 Cashew Chicken. The spice level was good. I liked that there are a lot of veggies, but on the flip side it wasn't a lot of chicken. I also don't know why businesses seem to up-charge with door dash. It made me upset when I saw the receipt they posted on the outside of my bag. They charged $3 more for the same meal on door dash than the price they have posted in their restaurant menu.

This was the first time visiting Thaicoon in this location. I have been to another one in Katy so my expectation for here was also high and indeed it was absolutely awesome! Since I'm vegetarian, I like having veggie options like veggies and tofu! We had pad thai, pineapple fried rice and pa tse yu all in veggies! Twas really good and delicious The manger and stuffs were very friendly and just amazing to receive their service! :) The vibe of this restaurant was also cozy and great! I'll definitely be back there again!!Keep up the great work! Cheers

Average Thai restaurant with a decent selection! The inside is clean and basic, also very quiet. Service is okay too!The curry dish wasn't the best I've tasted, but wasn't the worst either. It wasn't as flavorful as we hoped. Also ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer, and they were great and crispy!Overall, this was an okay restaurant! Hope to try other items in the future
