After a long exam, I found myself at Thai Square, seeking a comforting meal in a soothing atmosphere. The moment I stepped in, the relaxed ambiance of the restaurant immediately eased my post-exam tension. The menu was quite inviting, with a variety of appealing offerings, but as a connoisseur of curries from various cultures, I was drawn to the massaman curry. The massaman curry at Thai Square was a delightful paradox. It was light yet savory, a combination that sounds contradictory but in reality, was executed flawlessly. The dish was brimming with rich flavors, which made every bite a joyful experience. Remarkably, despite its richness, the curry was not overwhelming, allowing me to savor the entire dish comfortably. It was the perfect post-exam indulgence, satisfying without being too heavy. An unexpected and heartwarming aspect of my visit was the kindness shown by the owner. My friend and I, lost in conversation and relaxation, stayed past the closing time without realizing it. The owner's graciousness in not hurrying us out was deeply appreciated. This act of kindness was the cherry on top of a lovely dining experience. In summary, Thai Square is a must visit for a good-time and great Thai Food!

Hey there, Yelp Family! Sooooo, I recently checked out Thai Square Restaurant and overall, it was a pretty cool spot. The vibe was nice and the decor had a modern feel to it. I will say though, the space was a bit smaller than I expected, but hey, it made it feel cozy. I LOVED the outside seating. The weather was perfect the day I went, too.Let's get to the good stuff - the food! The Pad Thai was amazing! The noodles were cooked just right and the sauce had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. And can we talk about the Thai tea? It was so creamy and refreshing. The sauce had a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors that really elevated the dish. It was not overly sweet or salty, which can be a problem with some Pad Thai dishes. The staff were super friendly and made great recommendations. They made us feel like a Philly VIP from the moment we walked in until we left. Overall, Thai Square Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Great food, cool vibes, and friendly service - what other Thai spots should I be trying next?

They have a $10 lunch special which is unheard of in this economy - it's fallen off the website's menu but you can get any of the typical thai favs (red curry, drunken noodles, etc.) with rice and a side salad. Generous portions, too. Just be sure to call ahead to ensure they're offering it before going in! I'm always a fan of a fried wonton and their golden bags are a good app to pair with your lunch special entree.

The best part about this place and the take out food was the sample. Nice, hot and crispy packed with a lot of items and complimentary dipping sauces. Wish I could say as much about the take out pad Thai and curry. On the plus side there was an ample amount of pad Thai in the order and the tofu was hot and crispy but overall the dish lacked flavor. It was remarked that the pad Thai tasted like raisins. The Thai curry was just run of the mill. Still nothing else compared to Chabba in Manayunk.

tasty food, cute place, and great service! nice outdoor seating that's perfect for a cool summer evening.got the drunken noodles with chicken and the chicken curry dumplings. loved the chicken curry dumplings!! they were perfectly crispy and didn't taste like the oil was old (which i find is common towards the end of the day at a lot of smaller restaurants!) drunken noodles had a good level of spice and the chicken was cooked well

Probably my favorite Thai spot in the Grad Hospital/Fitler Square area. Everyone working there was so nice. Good portion size and pricing for the quality. Their Thai hot is no joke so adjust accordingly. Along with typical Thai takeout items, they also have a cheesesteak eggroll that is actually pretty fire.

Here's the thing. The food here is okay. Perfectly fine.Is it the best regional Thai cuisine you can find in the city? I mean probably not? I've not found my go to place for that yet, but I do not think this is it.Don't come here for that.I think what they do well is serve the neighborhood as the go to corner restaurant. There's not much in the immediate vicinity - it's kinda Thai Square or nothing - but it's great that we have Thai Square! The people working there are so incredibly kind. The prices are reasonable even in this economy. They do a ton of takeout so the food isn't always immediately ready but it's reliable and consistent even if you have to wait a little bit. Everything is cooked well. No corners cut for speed - I consider this a good thing. The food does skew sweet. And is not as funky as I prefer. Or as spicy. The noodles don't always have the wok char. But that's all kind if par for the course. I'm not expecting S tier regional cuisine when I want an easy take out option. The patio is very cute, if you can snag a table on a nice day - it's not too big and can hold like maybe 4 groups max. we are fans of Thai square!

Thai Square really hit the spot for some great Thai food. They are currently only offering take-out, but allow you to sit on their outdoor deck.We ordered inside and were told 20 minutes, but our food came out in half that time. It was presented to us in a takeout bag along with utensils. The food was so good! Since we were not super hungry, we shared an appetizer and entree. We ordered the dumplings - some of the best I have had - and the ginger scallion chicken. This entree was perfect. Looking forward to trying more items on their menu!
