Thai Cottage - Sugar Land

I really wanted to like this place but I think ultimately I ended up disappointed. First of all, they've remodeled recently so the interior of the restaurant is definitely beautiful and has a more modern/elegant look. Unfortunately, I think the food is overpriced and not super flavorful, you can definitely get better Thai food for cheaper at other places in Sugar Land area. I got the red curry which was decently spicy, but it was difficult to enjoy because the rice portion they gave me with it was very small. The flat noodles were also just OK, with the portion for those being small as well.Mostly giving 3 stars because I really liked their Thai Tea, and it came in a cute bottle! Definitely the redeeming part of the meal for me.

This place is so overcharged their customer and inconsistent. Yesterday my husband and I had lunch there and I ordered a duck curry, it was so disappointing because there is hardly any meat, all we get is skins and fat and it's $28.00. We probably won't be back since there are many great place and better value.

It has been years since I was last here. The new interior design is so cute and fun. The thai tea was a little too sweet, but the bottle was a very generous serving and was good once the ice melted in it. I am always cautious eating thai food, as I'm allergic to peanuts. I informed the server and everything was fine. The lunch special cashew delight with pork was delicious and I had enough leftovers for another meal. Mild is not spicy at all, which was perfect for me

One server seemed to be in a rush, making our initial interactions a bit abrupt. We encountered an issue with an overly salty soup, and when we approached this hurried server, the response left us wanting more information. Fortunately, our first server was a delight. He not only addressed our concerns promptly but also took the initiative to involve the manager.The manager, displaying exceptional customer service, not only listened to our issue but promptly replaced the salty soup with another appetizer of our choice. It was a gesture that turned the situation around and showcased their commitment to customer satisfaction.Beyond the hiccup with the soup, the other dishes were well-executed, making Thai Cottage a decent Thai spot in the area. With its charming ambiance and overall tasty offerings, it remains a worthwhile choice for those craving Thai cuisine in a pleasant setting.

Thai Cottage has been here since I can remember. It's recently renovated to have an open and airy feeling. Wait to be seated at the door. The host is quick to greet you and get you to a table. The servers are also really quick. They have WiFi. Just ask for the password. Parking is available in the shared lot with the other retail spaces. There is never an issue with finding a spot. The food is really good. We've been back twice in 2 weeks. Our favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and the Pad Kee Mao.There are 3 levels of spice: mild, medium, hot. We typically get the medium. The portion sizes are huge. I love that we can take some home and have it later too.

I'm not sure why this place gets a low rating but we had great dinner and the spice level was on point. there's summer spring rolls with shrimp come with this delicious gooey peanut sauce. My pad Thai was perfectly seasoned. They have a ton of choices for vegetarians and vegans too. Cute seating in the newly expanded section of the restaurant plus there is plenty of parking.

Had lunch there on Saturday.. omg it was so delicious.. and it bring my first time there it was amazing.. their food is absolutely fantastic and phenomenal.. I had the wings.. and the best lemonade ever.. lavender.. will definitely be coming back.. and the sauce for the wings idk what it was but it's omg is was so good.. wish I could've taken it with me.

I was craving pad thai however my bfs yellow curry (which is normally my go-to) was better. The chicken pad thai was alright. At least it came with a lot of chicken. I hate places that are charging more for less food.Yellow curry lunch $12.50Pad thai lunch $11.50I typically get the peanut dressing with the salad, but I did like my bfs hot and sour soup (Chinese style). Eggrolls were good. Crispy and pretty big size.3 stars just bc prices have gone up. I feel like lunch specials should try to stick closer to $10.

Best place for Thai cottage in sugar land. Ambience and staff are really good as well Highly recommend!!

Food was good. Healthy. Tom yum soup with shrimp was tasty. Princess of siam was okay.Lychee black tea was pretty good. Sweet but not too sweet. Service was good.Nice place.
