Texas Tail Distillery

Had a great whiskey tasting here! Their products were excellent and a very nice tasting room.

Such an unexpected pleasure! The food at this place is surprisingly delicious. We had apps and drinks and totally enjoyed ourselves. We tried the Mac and cheese bites and the pork belly. Both were great! We also tried a few of their old fashions. These are never a bad choice. The staff was great and very informative! We want to come back and do the distillery tour.

Nice and spacious. There is an outdoor patio space perfect for a large group of friends however with minimal shade so I'd suggest going in the later evening/night given Texas weather. I ordered the large "pink drink" which was very tasty and refreshing especially on a hot afternoon. I just didn't taste any alcohol...no buzz or anything. Not sure what that was about...maybe next time. Seems like a cool spot though.

Great/fun stop!! They make whiskey, vodka and moonshine on site. I'm tasting the 3 flight whisky shots and the girls each had a candy corn. All were great!!The food truck looked good as well, but we're saving that for our next trip.

Visited Galveston for the umpteenth time and stumbled upon this ABSOLUTE gem of a spot. Blows my mind how I never came across this establishment before but I am sure glad I did this time; and will be visiting whenever I am in town from now on. First and foremost the staff at Texas Tail are AWESOME. Top notch, cream of the crop. I say staff because every single individual that I had an interaction with that is part of that staff was great. Really enjoyed the tour and getting to know how their products are made and also what makes them unique. I was impressed with the quality of everything they're making here. The whiskey, the vodka, and the shine. We pretty much purchased one of each and will be seeking them out at our local liquor to keep a bottle on hand at home. The vibe of the place is lively on some days and livelier on others. (Visited on a Saturday & Sunday)Drink menu is full with a selection of amazing cocktails prepared with all their great spirits. Pricing is very reasonable and worth every bit. Even the food items they're pushing out are great. I'm torn on preparing this review because I almost want to keep this place a secret. But they deserve all the recognition and business that should come their way. Hats off to you Texas Tail. See you again soon

Drinks were great along with the food. Service was excellent! We had our four legged baby with us, so we sat on the patio. They have water bowls throughout their patio. They even brought out a little cup of whipped cream for our baby. She loved it too!

Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Good cocktails that weren't short on alcohol. We had a good patty melt with jalapeños and a smoked turkey sandwich and both were delicious. Laid back place that is dog friendly. Nice outdoor area. Definitely a return visit next visit.

Incredible food, fast and friendly service, great atmosphere, we had the brisket sandwich, the brisket nachos and the og smash burger, it was all amazing

Love this place. Exceptional vodka's and Bourbon. Great care is taken into all their custom made libations and the food is delicious. Service is 5 star and friendly. They have a great private party room upstairs and an awesome outdoor patio if you want to bring your kids and the dog! A Galveston Gem for sure. Also, the owners do so much for their community and other small businesses so I love to support them back. Terri Wilson

This place is a gem. Out walking and came up on our favorite thing to do...visit distilleries. I ordered a Lonestar mule which was so refreshing and quite perfect. The hubby ordered an old fashioned and it came out with the distillery stamp on the cube. The food was amazing. The barbeque is so authentic. They only sell what they make here for spirits. This place is incredible. It has an area outside that has tons of room and fun things to do. This place is amazing...I am coming back here before I end our vacation. Definitely and highly recommend. The service was great. Our server explained everything, gave us great recommendations and told us a lot about the spirits and what it goes well with.
