The facade alone lets you know this place is worth checking out if you like chicken that involves grease.No, it isn't some ironic renovated take, it is just a solid fast food Chinese place. Like the Diner, in Houston it feels like these types of places are not so easy to find. They are here, but not quite like this place. It knows what it is and operates well in that position. No pressed white shirts on ceramic plates, no, no. A hunk of sugary sauced chicken with two scoops of fried rice and a condiment table of all the necessities and fortune cookies for under $10 in a styrofoam container is what you get.It works, and your stomach will scream with happiness, and later...rejection! I Definitely Enjoyed This Place, The Service Was Really Nice. The Lady At The Front Counter Was Very Friendly. You Can See The Guy In The Back Cooking It Up And Singing. The Prices Are Very Nice And The Serving Size Is Undeservingly Large. I Am Fat Full And Only Half Way Through The Meal. I Will Be Back!!! I Must Say, It Is Quite Delicious, The Kinda Food You Expect From A Place Like This.I Also Witnessed Some Regulars Come In, They Were All Recognized And Acknowledged. I Liked That.

I went in to pick up my food and I asked the guy if I could look at it. He told me why you think I make wrong, they order I make it. So he thought I was a delivery driver. When I started asking questions about the order he says look just deliver food. I looked at him and was like what, that's when he was like are you delivery or your order. And I informed him that I ordered the food. So he was like if something wrong let me know. I just told him we ordered Saturday and this doesn't look the same. So he proceeded to tell me uhhh just eat. At first I was like did he say that or am I just tripping. Then the other person started saying the same thing "just eat just eat". I told him that there is no need for them to be rude I'm just trying to make sure I ordered it right. Then totally ignored me when I asked about my order to answer the phone and scream a customer saying "what do you want". It's sad that they have great food and poor customer service.

Old place but staff is super sweet. Clean inside lots of cameras inside. Dumpling came out out and crispy not oily. Hit and sour was very flavorful. Egg roll was small but tasty. The dumplings sauce was super good.

Closed down? I've been there several times and the place is closed, there were homeless people sleeping at the entrance. No notice or anything explaining why is closed! Any info to share? the food apart from the buffalo wings, was great! Ambience was meh! is one of those for TO-GO restaurants..

Super chicken saved my marriage! This was the first time I ever went to this establishment, and I have to admit the food was fantastic. My intention was to get the chicken to go, but when I arrived, the service was so exceptional I asked my wife if she wanted to stay. While we were there, there were mariachis. The mariachi band happened to play the same song that me and my wife got married to, I recommend anyone reading this to eat super chicken and rice five star all the way. The staff treated me as a castilian caballero. The super chicken had an incredible blend of herbs and spices and while I don't know what the exact mix was, Super Chicken and Rice definitely gave me super powers and drive that night on what I consider our new anniversary. My wife said I was faster than a speeding bullet.

Got called in for a midnight shift at work, so was looking for a late night food delivery. Found this place Texas Chicken and Rice, catchy name, thought I would try it. I ordered the Chicken and Mushrooms which also have garlic, carrot, onions, and bell. So glad I ordered my food from here, It was DELICIOUS!!! I'm on the Keto diet so no rice with mine, it still tasted great, nice mellow flavors.I will order from here again soon.Thanks guys!!!!

So I always order on door dash and the first time I did they didn't give me a fork or soy sauce like common sense how tf ima eat my food ? But I thought they forgot you know so I say cool you know but then I order em again today and same shit no damn fork or soy sauce .
