Texanita’s Big Tortas

Interesting type of sandwiches but when you sink your teeth into it you'll truly understand what an authentic Tortas is all about. These guys have this food cornered, awesome flavor and great service. When the word gets out it will be standing room only....have a happy meal!

Today, we decided to try a different menu plate. My husband and I went for the green sauce chilaquiles that includes bistec and two eggs. We selected this item based on the promotion that is on the wall at the restaurant. We are extremely dissatisfied with what we received. The promotion is completely deceiving regarding the bistec to be received with the order. I recommend that the promotion picture be removed or reduce the cost of the green chilaquiles plate to avoid customers be dissatisfied or notify customers that the bistec meat on the wall is not what you are getting. On the other hand, the young lady, Katerine, that attended us made our experience fantastic. She was very jolly, kind and attentive. Excellent customer service received from her.

I had the cubana torta with chicken milanesas. The torta is huge the taste is super fresh and the fries are good i love that they have Mansanita and the lady are friendly but most importantly the food is great you need to try it

These tortas are really good! Totally worth the drive. We had the Houston, the Chilanga and the basket of French fries with cheese and bacon. Recommend all of these.The "small" one is like for one person, it's not small at all.As a Mexican I felt like it did taste like home Would definitely visit again!

Do not be fooled by the looks of this food. It looks good but it was lacking flavor. It was bland and expensive as well. We tried 2 tortas and the nachos. Cheese and sauces was flavorless and cheap. Most likely won't be back here again.

So far everything we have ordered has been pretty good. I mostly recommend their Pambazo, it was sooo good! I thought I liked the BT til I tried their pambazo, and now I get the pambazo when I go! As for the chilaquiles, they were pretty authentic and delicious!

Absolutely great Pastor tortas. Bread was soft and toasty. Meat was flavorful. Fries were great. Horchata was home made and delicious. Just a little hole in the wall, but wow! The staff were super nice and got the food out quick.

Texanitas Big Tortas is a killer spot tucked right outside of Houston, where the vibes are as good as the eats. Run by a super friendly family, this place dishes out massive, tasty tortas that hit the spot. The bread's fresh, and the fillings? Just wow. It's casual, it's cozy, and it feels like you're just hanging out at a friend's place. So, if you're cruising from Houston to Dallas and your stomach's growling, pulling over at Texanitas is a no-brainer. Trust me, you'll roll out of there full, happy, and probably planning your next visit.

The food was good but missing top bread on my torta, so it's very hard to eat with only 1 bread.
