Texan Liquor

Great little cigar selection. And lots of beer to choose from. I went in and grabbed a 6 pack and a cigar. Found out they now have Esteban Carreras cigars, MY FAVORITE!!!!. Great prices on them too.

I came here looking for a gift for a birthday I was going to. What else do you get a man in his 30s? A nice bottle of liquor is usually a good choice. When we entered we were quickly greeted and asked if we needed help with anything. The store had giftbags for my gift which was nice. I didn't have to stop anywhere else to get one. The man behind the counter even removed the price tag and got my gift ready for me. After he offered me to sample tequila from the tequila vendor. It was a good experience. The tequila vendor was very knowledgeable and explained the different processes for making tequila. The store was clean and was very well stocked. Everything was labeled with prices.

They had my bottle of Grey Goose for $6 cheaper than Spec's! It is kinda cramped inside but they had everything I needed!

Best place and friendliest staff anywhere in Jersey Village. I had been buying my rum at another place nearby. I told them the brand and they began stocking it, at an excellent price also! Great customer service always!

Excellent service! Everyone was very kind and helpful. They have a wide selection and lots of great boxed liquor sets. I'll definitely go there again!!

It Texan hour or so to reach this place if you're 1 hr away by road, but if liquor is what you want, it's worth it.Up in the far northwest corner of town you will find this liquor store which is where you can get some good deals, and some great service.In some ways it's cheaper than the big box stores and in other ways it can be more expensive or similar, but overall I like it better because it seems independently-owned and friendly.

This is OUR neighborhood liquor guy. They know our name and have our order ready when we reach the register. We asked for a particular vodka and now they are always in stock. It's family owned and operated, which I love you support. If you live in this area and like a drive occasionally this is the place.

It's a liquor store, so it's what you would expect out of a liquor store....but, because Yelp makes me write so much for a review, I have to drag this out a bit.While in the Texan Liquor, I got a bottle of Jack Daniel's whiskey--which I took back to my hotel, and devoured!! No, I don't do this often, but hey, I was feeling good! Ok, that's about it...when you're here, get whisky, get drunk!

I was a little uncomfortable at this place. Stopped by while visiting family at a nursing home. Picked up a bottle on the shelf and asked if they had a few others on our list and the guy looked at hisBoss who literally looked my husband up and down and said, "no, we don't have that." Seemed clear he wasn't interested in selling to us. Very odd interaction. Won't stop there again.

We were on the great whiskey tour of 2019, seeking great bottles under $250 that were on 'TheListofGoidness'. What a find Village was! Whiskey & bourbon lovers must keep this locale to themselves. Points for knowledge of staff and stock quantities.Point deducted for pricing (quite high), selection, and availability. Go here as a have-to-have, no-matter-the-cost option.
