We visited for dinner and it quickly became our new spot downtown! The food was delicious and the presentation of the food was beautiful detailed! We had the wings, the mushroom pizza & the Yaki Soba. Our favorite thing was the service, we have little ones and our server, Eric was amazing with them and considerate of dining with kids. We trusted him with our cocktails & were impressed with his selection. For being a new place, his server was highly knowledgeable of the menu. We can't wait to go back for the food and the service!

I finally got to check out the new digs last night after attending the educator Evening event next door at Changing Hands. So this place can become a problem I feel. Ha! In a way I am glad I do not live so close by anymore. The experience was superb. The food was delish. I got a white pizza and a side of fries. Every seat was taken, and Carlos and Rebecca were amazing. Great service, great food, diverse menu. It is not a Mexican themed eatery but a new concept from the people who brought you Otro Cafe and Gallo Blanco. I will be back. I was so thrilled to see some old favs like the amazing coconut pudding and Olive Oil Cake on the menu. Starting next week the pancakes for brunch. I know it seems odd but they have the best pancakes in town at Otro cafe. Check it out. Enjoy.

Dined at this restaurant last Thursday with 13 other Yelpers for an unofficial Yelp happy hour event as it's supposed to be one of the hot and new restaurants in Phoenix. I really liked the casual, modern, comfortable and warm ambience of this restaurant and seemed like a very popular spot. They have an interesting concept offering comfort food with Arizona ingredients. Hubby and I ordered 10 chicken wings- half dry rub and half gochujang buffalo with crudités and peppercorn ranch ($10 on happy hour menu) It was just meh, with everything on the bland side and not very flavorful. We also ordered the ahi tuna poke bowl $21. It was ok, and again, not as much flavor as I was looking for. I think we picked wrong items to order as everyone that had the wagyu cheeseburger ($18) raved about how tasty it was. Their bread and spread ($10 on happy hour) is huge and apparently very good as well. Although what we ordered wasn't great, I really liked the ambience and service was good. Next time I'll come with a bigger appetite and try the bread and spread and the wagyu cheeseburger.

We had so much fun last night! We wanted to try one of the Hot & New spots in Phoenix and this place was a hit! Decent happy hour selections $3 off wine, beer and their house cocktails. I had their spritz which was quite tasty. Decent selection of wines. We tried a little bit of everything the Bread & Spread was yummy. The wings were a hit! The deal of the night was a bottle of house red or white, choice of pizzetta & choice of salad for $36! What a bargain. I had the margherita pizza which was quite tasty. I had some of the house red and it was a bold, flavorful red blend. Anastacia (hope I'm spelling it right) was very friendly and attentive to everyone. She deserves 5 stars alone! The harissa shrimp was so yummy, and the white sweet potato was delish!! I loved the ambiance here! The only negatives were the rice paper dumplings weren't that good. A few of us tasted them and none of us liked it. They charged for the birthday cake and we also didn't like that they don't let you split checks more than 4 ways. This is 2024 so most places should accommodate multiple cards.I definitely would go back!

Tesota is firing on all cylinders. The space itself is open, bright, and inviting. The recurring word as we sampled the menu was "fun." The bread + spread was diverse, spanning inspirations from multiple regions. The rice paper dumplings were more rolls than dumplings, but absolutely delicious. The fish katsu sandwich helped seal the deal - it wasn't overly greasy, the slaw was the perfect compliment (especially the hints of mint), and the Nice Buns bun housed it all perfectly. Get the waffle fries FYI as your side.

Main take away - diverse menu with many a veggie option. Food was delicious and portions were large ! We were one of many who walked out with to go boxes. Standout item- harissa shrimp appetizer which was plenty generous and had an amazing arugula pesto sauce. Was pleasantly surprised with the pizzettes which were reminiscent of personal pan pizzas (but like in the best possible way!). Nice cocktail list and several zero proof options as well. One complaint was the noise level. I think a function of the high ceilings or the misfortune of sitting next to an extremely loud talker. Regardless would love to go back and wish it was closer.

This is a really great casual restaurant. I had the wagyu burger which was great. An excellent cheese burger I truly enjoyed it. The wait staff were polite and friendly and the food came out quietly. I honestly had my doubts about this place but it was really good.

I've been wanting to try this new restaurant since it opened and am glad I finally made it out. Located next to Changing Hands bookstore in the Uptown area. We were lucky to grab two stools at the bar. All of the bartenders were helpful and kind. The rice paper dumplings were unique. The gemelli peas & carrots was delicious. Such a fresh unique take on pasta for the summer. I can't wait to go back and trySo many other options on the menu.

located at 3rd ave and camelback is a new staple in our house! This is just what our neighborhood needed! Everything we had was delicious and a great price point! They also have a happy hour from 2-6 everyday so you know where you'll find me *We started with cocktails- the Warner Old Fashion ($14) and the Paradsi Spritz ($13) both were tasty and well balanced!*Get the Baled Brie($11) you will not regret it, so creamy I didn't want to share! *Then we shared some sides the Truffle Mac ($9) I don't love truffle that much but it was good and the lemon zest was a nice addition. We also had the White Sweet Potato($8) which I loved and the crème fraiche was perfect on there. *Lastly the Chorizo Pizzetta ($14) just enough spice and I loved the goat cheese! Service was good and they were busy for a Sunday night! 100% would recommend and we will be back!

We tried this brand new restaurant, which is the newest to come from chef Doug Robson (Gallo Blanco, Otro Cafe). It did not disappoint. We arrived at just the perfect hour - - we were seated immediately at a table near the bar. We ordered cocktails, which were delicious. They didn't have amaretto for the amaretto sour I ordered, so I had to change my cocktail order to a lemon drop, but it was fine because it was a really, really good lemon drop.We started with the Bread& Spread, which was bread and tortilla chips served with 1) edamame guacamole with yuzu and peanut chili, 2) hummus with olive tapenade, and 3) white bean relish with arugula pistachio pesto. It was fantastic!!! It is actually big enough to be a meal on it's own.Hubby got the flat iron steak with charred scallions and chimichurri. It was absolutely delicious. I got the wedge salad with salmon on the side. My salmon was perfectly cooked, with a crisp on the outside. The wedge salad was amazing--it was not made with iceberg the way most are. Rather, it was made with green leaf lettuce (I think??), and it definitely worked. Yummm! It s topped with huge pieces of bacon and blue cheese. This place seems to be pretty popular, so cross your fingers and time it right so you won't have to wait--they only take reservations for groups of 6 or more.
