Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Outstanding food. Get the Brussel Sprout sandwich. It was a sandwich I'll be mouthwatering over for days. Also loved the Sourdough Cavatelli Cacio e Pepe and Chopped Salad with chicken. I also got a great non-alcoholic mojito which was super refreshing. They have a great $20 lunch special which includes an app, sandwich or salad entree, and dessert. The place was bright and airy, lots of seating, with a cool and calm vibe. New favorite spot. Honestly one of the yummiest meals I've had in Chicago.

I really wanted to like this place. I had read about it and made a point to go. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The Cacio e Pepe was so intense, it was one dimensional. The real clincher was that the NB&J was a let down. The macaroon as the bread overwhelms the flavor of the jam.The one food item I really liked was the bread. That was outstanding. The staff were very nice. Highlight here. Ambiance was so so.

Went here for restaurant week and would not recommend it. The food was all pretty poor. For the first option, I got the sunchokes. I usually love sunchoke dishes, but this was really oversalted and mushy. It was a struggle to eat it.For the second option, I got the mushroom risotto. This was somehow extremely undersalted and felt like eating plain rice. For the third option, got the scallops. These were somehow saltier than the sunchokes. We actually had to chase each one down with a bunch of water. For dessert, got the tiramisu. This was an absolute travesty. The ladyfingers had no espresso in them and were sooooooo dry. This dessert was basically poorly flavored cream sitting on dry ladyfingers. I had 2-3 small bites and left the rest on my plate. This dessert made me feel so bad that I made my own tiramisu the next day to try and clean this memory from my mind. The drinks were not really notable. Service was really slow. There were only a couple tables occupied at the restaurant, but it took quite a while to take our orders and for our drinks to come out. Also, it took a long time for our food to be made.As far as ambiance, it looks like an unfinished space. The walls were pretty bare and there was one small, out of place, plant near the front.

Excellent happy hour! I sat at the bar and ordered the lasagna pizza and Lost Spirit cocktail. Everything was fantastic! The pizza was phenomenal. Service from the hostess and bartender was top tier. I went on a Thursday around 4:30pm and the place wasn't busy at all. Definitely one of my favorite happy hours in the city. I'll be back!

My husband and I had dinner and drinks at the bar last Saturday night. The drinks were well crafted by the very knowledgeable bartender. The pizza was delicious, the first pizza in Chicago both my husband and I agreed upon! We also enjoyed the sweet potato gnocchi, the flavors were perfectly paired. The decor was bright and airy, they have large doors that open into the space making it a great place to enjoy the patio or indoors on a beautiful day. The owners both talked with us and were delightful. They have an amazing concept with great food and drinks. We are already planning our return trip!

This casual spot offers great service and delicious food (especially the made from scratch pastas). I recommend the Fiore di Ibisco cocktail, scallop crudo as a starter, #10 pizza and definitely the Grano Arso Tagliatelle.

Terra E Mare was included in Restaurant week 2024. We attended for a special occasion. The restaurant week menu had a nice selection. The friendly vibe of the staff and our sever T made our visit enjoyable. The food was very flavorful and I really enjoyed my food selections. All paired well with my choice of beer. I think Terra E Mare is definitely worth visiting to enjoy some good food!

Finally hit a spot on our list almost right away! Been waiting for some new spots in the loop, south loop-ish for after work and we definitely found a good one. $10 cocktails from 4-6PM and plenty of options including espresso tini's and a spicy blueberry margarita which was so delicious. We didn't get to try much of the food but the oysters were only $1 and full pizzas are also offered for happy hour. Will be back

beautiful place with very high quality ingredients - 8 year old sourdough starter used in all of their breads, pastas and pizzas. Their olive oil is sourced from their family farm and is deeeelish. A gem for the neighborhood!
