Solid spot with great service if you're looking for a chill bar spot with a large menu.Service was very fast and efficient, no complaints. For an appetizer, we split the mussels Ostend which was good. Loved that it came with both bread and fries, and the fries were cooked perfectly, our favorite part of the entire meal. For an entree, I got the roasted spaghetti squash which was a bit bland. Husband got the shrimp po boy which was good and a huge portion.

Lunch in the cute little town of Wayne :) We sat at the table in the front our waiter was nice and offered some suggestions when we were deciding on certain food choices. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to try. I wanted the escargot since I don't see this on the menu often. We also got fried mozzarella, bacon wrapped scallops and arachini. The escargot was okay. Not sure if it's the freshest escargot. The fried mozzarella was really good. The bacon wrapped scallops are always really good. The arachini was a bit dry and I didn't care for the sauce. For entrees I got the summer pasta which came with shrimp and a light basil lemon sauce with noodles. I thought the pasta was okay. There needs to be more seasoning but I did like how it was a light pasta for summer. My friend got.the chicken Parm pasta and that was really good. I think it just depends on what you order. Overall the food is okay and was pretty expensive for the amount of food you get. Presentation and service was good though.

Beautiful restaurant that is actually split into two smaller spots. Both sides have a bar and a different vibe. The Cab was very good. Full bodied with a slight pepper to it. I'm a creature of habit and always end up ordering chicken parm when I go out. I've had it at a bunch of restaurants and this is by far one of the best I've ever had. The chicken cutlet was super thin but still tender and juicy. The breading was perfect. Tiny bread crumbs that got very crispy but wasn't overly breaded like most places. It was still crispy then next day when I had the leftovers! The pasta was cooked well and the sauce had a good complimentary flavor. The customer service here was above and beyond. Our waitress gave great recommendations and the bussers were very attentive. I was a fool and left my purse at the restaurant. The manager looked up my phone number from the reservation and called me right away. I wasn't able to get back there that night so he locked it up for the night and told the day manager about it. The day managers called the next morning to confirm they had it and told me to ask for him when I come to get it. They were all so helpful and understanding about it.

This would be a fun place to get a drink or dinner out. I enjoyed the ambience (kind of warm and welcoming, but also slightly darker lighting). Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I got the mushroom pizza and regretted the choice. It seemed either under seasoned or almost too mushroomy - like a forest taste. I enjoyed my time there, but probably wouldn't eat there again. If anything, I'd try out more of the drink selections. There are plenty to choose from! - AT

Amazing selection of wine and Ambiance. The waiter had so much knowledge about the different alcohols served. The food was good and fresh with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options available.I recommend this place!

While watching an episode of What's Brewing this past weekend, Glen and Joe Sixpack came up with a list of romantic beer spots, either breweries, alehouses, or beerhalls, etc. On the list was Teresa's Cafe in Wayne, PA. Being from NJ I really had no idea where Wayne, PA was, but after looking it up I realized it was only 20 minutes away from Newtown Square, which is where my wife had an appointment. The fate of the beer gods must have been with us. Walking into the place you can't help but notice how nice it is. Very clean and organized with a beautiful bar and nice tables and booths on the side. Since it was midday we were lucky to get a booth which would be very nice for a couple out on a date. My wife and I are beyond the dating scene, but it was nice having the booth to ourselves. Of course the first menu I grabbed was the drink menu. I was really curious why the guys from What's Brewing liked this place. It did not disappoint. Great selection of Belgian Ales and other domestic craft beers. Also, was happy to see some hand pumped selections which I rarely get. I started with a hand pumped Geuze Boon, which was delicious. I later got the Tripel De Garre which was fantastic. But if you don't care for beer they also have a great selection of wines, gin, and whiskey. My wife had a nice Pinot Noir from South Africa. The food menu is also incredible and extremely diverse. Exotic meats (kangaroo for example), wings, salads, pastas, a variety of entrees, and mussels, were all on the menu. They even have something for the vegetarian in your life. My wife got the Eggplant entree which she really loved. I tried a little and it was very good. I had the Ostend Mussel's which were delicious. I couldn't get enough of the broth and ordered more bread to soak it up. The frites were also good and the dipping sauce that came with it was very nice with a little kick. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive, but not intrusive. We spoke to the owner later and he was really nice also. Great place with a great atmosphere, great beer, and great food. Only wish it was closer.

He Said: The food is great, and despite living a few hundred miles away we've been in a few times. Excellent food, wines, beers, whiskies, and fantastic staff. Their wine selection is great and their tap, bottle, and cocktail lists are an inviting start to a great experience. I usually start with an Old Fashioned and theirs is perfect. Over various visits we've had a lot of appetizers. We've tried the Bunny Bites (good stuff), the Risotto Cakes (ok), Brussels Sprouts (for sure), frites (necessary), ad fricadelles (oh yeah). We've also had at least 3 of the pizzas (all wonderful) in addition to a bunch of entrees. They have moules multiple ways and it's difficult for me to not order them most times we visit. With a Belgian trippel, or the ever-present Pliny, and the crusty bread I am in heaven. The Far East version have been my go-to for the last two trips and most recently I added the escargot. I like snails well-enough, but it turns out they weren't necessary for me. I've finished with a whisky flight and certainly recommend it because their selection is absolutely stellar, though I'm usually tapping out by that point. Leave room for a dram or two if you can!She Said: My niece clued us into Teresa's Cafe a couple of years ago, and I'm just sad that I didn't learn about it earlier. Every time we're in the area, we make it a point to come here. The food is fantastic, the beer list is phenomenal, the wine is terrific, and it's nice to pick a good bottle of wine to take home on the way out.I've now been to Teresa's four times, and I would call out specific food to try, but everything is good, so just order what sounds good! The specials are bound to be terrific, and I've always been thrilled with whatever I have from the everyday menu.Potty Points: 4/5 stars from me. Always clean and always available!

Nice atmosphere. We like to get the snack mixes while the tomato pie is in the oven. The sauce on the pie is really great. The staff is friendly and courteous. More vegan options would be amazing.

We came here to celebrate graduation of our elementary school child - it was obvious but the waitress didn't seem to notice or ask if we here for a special celebration. The appetizers were good - we are vegetarian and picked the artichoke crispy fried and mozzarella balls with marinara. Both were delicious. The falafel wrap was ok but not as spicy - also,It was dry, I wish more sauce was offered on the side. The pasta , mushrooms with pesto and cream fraiche was delicious but kind of monotonous. There was nothing with it like a salad on the side to cut the richness of the dish. The drinks were good - like really good Dubonette! The one dish I would not recommend is the Eggplant Melanzane ( supposed to be layers of eggplant and cheese) - it wasn't done completely. We mentioned it to the waitress but it was ignored completely. The eggplant was raw !! And bitter! The cost was way too high for the quality of the food, but hey this is Wayne. Also, the service was kind of cold and unfriendly - but again this is Wayne, PA. Not returning here again.

This was the worst meal I've had in years. Terrible acoustics. The service is slow and unfriendly. The Brussels sprouts were over-salted, oily and basically inedible. Same with the grilled asparagus. But that was nothing compared to the wilted, insipid mussels. The marinara sauce is forgettable. The provincial is ok, not great. Beer selection is good which helps with all the salt.
