Really disappointed in the service and food, as well as the drinks. Had a strawberry colada which was ice with no flavor, and not blended well. The chicken tenders I ordered for my son were just about the only edible thing. I had a veggie burrito which had nothing that was depicted on the menu. It had cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, white rice and beans. (Menu said: mushrooms, cheese, rice, beans, peppers.) it was like they threw anything in there, not appetizing at all. Waitress never checked even tho the food on the table was untouched. Please save your money and time.

Came here with a friend the other day, and the food was delicious! We both digit frozen strawberry margaritas which were the best margs I've ever had! The chips and salsa were also delicious. My friend got the flautas and I got the combo #4. I overall had a good time and I thought the food was good! I will say the service was a little slow. We did wait longer than expected to place our order and get our check. I will be back though!!

HAPPY TACO TUESDAY OR NOT!!! LOOK FOR THE SIGNS!!! Since I never participate in the whole "Taco Tuesday '' trend, I decided I wanted to get in on the action this go round. Tequilas Mexican Bar and Grill is located near my place of residence and I have always wanted to give them a try, so I thought to myself, "here's my opportunity to see what this place is all about!" I arrived around 2:45 pm on a beautiful sun-shining Tuesday. The place was not packed at all with only a handful of customers dining inside. I must admit this establishment was clean, colorful, and spacious. However, there was a horrendous smell in the atmosphere. It smelled like sewage backed up or something similar. I don't know what the smell was exactly, but it was not a pleasant one. Luckily, I was getting my food to-go because I had just finished having lunch at Willie's with my husband. I planned on having this meal for dinner later on in the evening. I cannot fathom how the few guests that were dinging inside could enjoy their meal while sitting there breathing in that horrendous aroma that was circulating in the air. Furthermore, customer service was good. A young man by the name of Jason took my order. He was respectful, friendly, and welcoming. I informed him that I would like to try their tacos, so he assisted me with the menu by showing me where they were located under the title, "Best Tacos." Well, I beg to differ, lol. Yeah, so you know where I'm going with this right? Moving along, I ordered the Tacos Al Carbon platter which is a choice of three chicken or three beef tacos served with pico de gallo, guacamole, rice, and beans. They also give you the option of charro or refried beans. I went with the three chicken tacos and charro beans. Moreover, when I arrived home, I opened my bag to check my order which is something that I should have done before leaving the restaurant. Man, was I disappointed when I opened the foil pan to view my order! The chicken was diced cubes of chicken that appeared to be excessively boiled and dry-looking. I thought the chicken was supposed to be grilled, rather than boiled, with lots of tasty grilled onions to accompany it, but this was not even close! I asked for corn tortilla but was given flour instead. To top it off, they forgot my charro beans. I attempted to try and see the silver lining by dressing the poorly looking taco with some of the rice, the guac, and pico. When I bit into it, it did nothing for me. I felt absolutely nothing, but disappointment. The taco was dry and flavorless. I had to think of another solution for dinner because I trashed it. It was a waste of my time y mi dinero, (and my money). Overall, I gave this establishment two stars based on the polite and respectful host that waited on me, and also based on the presentation of their dining area. It appeared to be clean and well kept. However, the horrific stench that was circulating in the air was a sign to walk back out of the door when I entered. I should have followed the signs! I encourage you all to look for the signs people. If you enter a Mexican establishment that's supposed to be throwing down in the kitchen, but it smells like sewage instead of the aromas of grilled beef and onions, then turn around and walk away. No, better yet, RUN AWAY! The food I ordered had absolutely no Mexican authenticity to it and was flavorless and bland. The decor inside the restaurant was colorful and vibrant which gave off a Mexican Cultural vibe, but the food lacked those special authentic Mexican flavors! It's possible that this establishment was popping once-upon-a-time in the past, but unless they make some serious adjustments ASAP, I see them shutting down soon! I hope they iron out the wrinkles quickly because it's actually a nice restaurant with lots of dining space. Not to mention, they also have a spacious outside patio dining area with plenty of shade. I sure did have high hopes for them and I wanted to like them, especially since I live nearby. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. I'll have to chalk this one up as a learning experience. However, I wish them all the best!

This is my third time trying out Tequilas and by far the worst. The beef fajitas were super unseasoned which left the entire taste up to the cut of meat, which was cheap; almost off. The chicken enchiladas tasted like my favorite dinner as a child, Hamburger helper tuna tetrazinni. Not good. The salsa at the beginning of the meal tasted like tomato sauce out of a can with a bit of seasoning served warm. There were many other discrepancies but the worst was the tortillas; they were worse than grocery store freshly made tortillas. Positives, the water and Coca-Cola...Very fresh. Also, the service was friendly. We will not be coming back for some time. There is also a fee tacked on for using a credit card of about 4%! Stay away!
