I have become a somewhat regular now to this restaurant. It's such a good spot for a bowl of hot soup rice noodle on the cold days. They recently changed their menu, even better, now every bowl comes with the same variety of sides (like black ears, corn, spam, cabbage, quail egg etc) besides the main protein. Their soups tastes are very consistent, always rich and clean not too oily. Service is fast, just like the name ten seconds. Very spacious and cozy seating inside, but parking can be little tight on the weekend. Highly recommend the spicy soups or if you want a numbing mala spice then you should try the green pepper soups.

I actually really enjoy this place more than I thought I would. It's one of my go-to places for when I'm feeling soupy noods. I always get the pickled chili pepper sour noodles. I know it sounds weird and intimidating for a lot of people, but it is super flavorful and not intimidating at all! I have friends who have gotten the original flavor and said it's not really that flavorful. I love all the little toppings you can add in. Makes for a fun experience. I've also had the spicy beef noodle soup which was great. That one already comes ready to eat, you don't have to put in toppings. If you're looking for something sweet, I'd recommend the glutinous rice cake with brown sugar - those are always great. Little crispy on the outside and very chewy on the inside with brown sugar sauce to dip. Plenty of parking in this plaza. Maybe not a lot of spaces out front but there's a garage nearby to park. Also lots of other fun shops in this plaza if you want to go somewhere else for dessert, you got options.

4.5 StarsEvery time the weather gets chilly in Houston I just crave a piping hot bowl of soup, and Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle always hits the spot. I've actually never dined in at this Bellaire Chinatown location, so can't speak much for the service. However, judging from the fact that they separate the noodle from the soup for take outs (to prevent soggy noodles), you can tell that they want to deliver you their best tasting food, even for you to eat in the comforts of your home. I definitely appreciate this extra gesture! We've tried the original, tomato broth, mushroom broth, and chicken broth. My favorite is hands down the original, with the chicken broth at a very close second. Tomato broth and mushroom broths are both good, but it doesn't leave you with a hankering for "just one more sip" the way the original does. I also enjoy the toppings that come in the noodle soups, which includes mushroom, Napa cabbage, fish tofu, shrimp, quail egg, fried tofu, and Woodear, just to name a few. However, I really don't like the thinly sliced beef that comes with the original soup. This beef is fatty but dry. Not tasty at all. The chicken that comes in the mushroom broth and the chicken broth is not bad. It tastes like typical chicken in Chinese restaurants, pre-marinated in egg whites or something. But they are pretty generous with the portion. My friends (and several other reviewers) have commented that the Katy location is much better. However, I feel like the food tastes pretty similar at both locations. Overall, a great spot for hot soup on a cold Houston winter day!

We had a spontaneous visit here after not being able to decide where to eat (who can relate? LOL) and we were so glad we did! This place is super aesthetic with the minimal modern decor inside. They have a lot of noodle soup options, which come in a stone bowl to keep it warm but also reminded me of personal hot pot hehe. We were seated right away and the service was really quick and friendly. They used to do deconstructed dishes, where you can have a little interactive fun by adding the ingredients in, but for our visit, they didn't have that option so it came altogether in the bowl. Which was fine for me because I was hungry haha.My bf got the Spicy Beef Shank Rice Noodle, which definitely had a bit of a kick to it, but was super flavorful and yummy. I had the Kimchi & Beef Rice Noodle, which was soooo good. It had a quail egg, tofu, beef, mushrooms, and lots more. The noodles were perfectly cooked as well. It was so nice to have on a chilly day, and I was also eyeing their tomato broth to try for the next visit! We also got the Chicken Gizzard in Garlic Sauce to try and it was surprisingly really delicious and addicting LOL. The portions are really generous too, definitely recommend if you're into gizzards!

Brought my parents here since my mom was craving and glad we tried it out. The service was fast and we got our noodles quickly. We ordered the spicy beef shank rice noodle which was flavorful and packed with tender beef cubes. My parents ordered the Chinese sauerkraut and spicy beef tripe which they really enjoyed. I would say to be careful if you are not big on spice because most of the dishes are spicy. Overall, a good place to go if you want to try out rice noodle soups!

Tried this place out for the first time and it was pretty good. I had the Mala spicy beef noodle soup and the chicken gizzard as appetizer. The soup is a pretty good portion and came with beef chunks and many other toppings. You can add extra toppings as well for extra charge. The soup base was very tasty. All the soup entrees are $12-13 so it's good value.

The noodles were good, but they should have let us add the toppings. The portions were large, and the broth was flavorful. The plants are very pretty and the walls are creative. Overall, this place is a good place for an ample lunch or dinner.
