I am a huge fan of family owned Mexican restaurants. Especially when I can find lengua on the menu. I stopped by Tekila on a Friday around 11am for early lunch. They were serving both breakfast and lunch so I was lucky to try a little of both! I ordered migas with beans and potatoes (these were the best breakfast potatoes I have ever had) which was only about $5. I also ordered a lengua taco for $2.50 and a frozen margarita. Everything was delicious! The lengua was super tender and the migas was more than enough to eat. The margarita was not very strong and I'm not sure if they make other liquor mixed drinks. Beer and wine are on the menu. No bar seating, but there were plenty of seats at the tables inside. Nice people and super affordable menu items. A great place for families to gather and enjoy great food.

Was in the area. Googled restaurants. Found tekila. Highly recommend. I guess it's a cafe. Food very good. We were there for lunch. Mom had shrimp. We originally were going to get coconut shrimp. Server suggested another plate. Big plate. Lots of shrimp. Rice, fries and lettuce, salad. We were very pleased. I had crispy tacos bistec cheese lettuce. Beans rice. Husband had what appeared to be street tacos. Beef fajita, soft tacos onions and cilantro. Server was really nice and we did take her recommendations. Can't say enough about the food. Restaurant clean and pleasant. Service very nice. I hope to be back soon!

Very friendly staff which makes experience more inviting. Food is better than most Mexican restaurants in the area. Went in the morning and lots of families and local police men have breakfast and coffee there. It's a inviting environment and food is fast and fresh.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing... first of all, the chips and salsa were good; nice and fresh. Ordered the chicken flautas. I loved that they were made with chicken breast. HATED that they were buried under a green pile of something they called guacamole; no; not guacamole... maybe thick sauce made with avocados but buried the flautas. The tiny ends of the flautas that I tasted were good but the "guacamole" ruined any of the other flavor. Received beans were decent. I might try it again and order something different just to give them a second chance.

Excellent service. Chips and salsa top notch. Had the agave burrito and it was big enough to feed myself and the Budweiser Clydesdales. Fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, would order again!

The food is authentic! The drinks are cheap and good! The service is a little slow but you're always met with a smile. Lunch time gets busy, so if you're limited to 30 minutes order fast!!!! Will be back!!!

The food is great with just enough spices. The tortilla chips don't always taste fresh, but the salsas are good. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. The quality service isn't consistent. The bilingual lady (short, brown-skin, bubbly personality) is the sweetest and most attentive. She also makes the best margarita w/ chamoy y chile tajin. She makes you feel welcome and not rushed. The ambiance is very much family friendly.

I have been going to this place for 2 years and it was always great, until now. They cut the portions and changed the menu. You now get a salad filler of 60 percent and the meat is not fresh, what a waste of my money. Rather than keeping it great, they go for the cheap. People don't mind paying if they get what they want. Almost $ 30.00 for 2 fajita bowls and I had mostly shredded salad and dried shredded chicken. They lost me as a customer.

I do not live on this side of Houston, but I happen to be there visiting. We were in the mood for fajitas and looked to see what was the closest Mexican Restaurant in the area and this place popped up. Mind you this is during COVID-19 shut down so our food had to be to-go. I called in the order, we ordered 2 fajita plates and a flauta plate. We also ordered chips and salsa. From dealing with the young lady on the phone who took my order to when I went in to pick it up, the customer service was phenomenal. I was greeted in a very friendly manner on the phone and in person. That already set the tone for the dining experience. We brought the food back to the apartment and started eating. I must say I was skeptical but to my surprise the food was excellent. It tasted very good and we were very well served. Mind you I was late picking up the order so it wasn't as hot as if I would have gotten there earlier. My fault not theirs. We were very satisfied with the service and the food it was excellent. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Hopefully, when things get back to normal I would like to experience the dine in service. I'm sure it will be just as excellent if not better. You all rock keep up the great work. Mar
