We have been quite a few times to Teets during the last few weeks, specifically during the Canes viewing parties. It's my favorite bar in Raleigh.Definitely a great place to meet with friends or catch a game on one of the many TVs around. They have a really cool outdoor seating area in both the front and back of Teets, as well as ample seating inside. I don't know anywhere else you can drink for cheaper. They have pool, darts, jenga, and other games. The bartenders are quick and polite and you usually don't have to wait long for drinks.

The bartenders and bouncer here are such dicks. Seriously never come here, there's a million better bars on Glenwood where the staff is actually nice.

**Check your credit card statements**They charged me $60 (not a holding fee, an actual charge). This was a separate transaction made after I had already closed my tab. I emailed them for a refund, they said I had to dispute it with my credit card company. THEFT!!!

Never have really liked this place but finally leaving a review after Saturday night. Bouncers are a Joke, over aggressive, power hungry, rude, and don't explain anything they just pick up people and shove them out. Oh they also pour out your full drink infront of you. They need to put the boys on some leashes.

I've never seen worse bouncers in my whole life. The people that work here are fucking terrible and I've seen them on multiple occasions beat the shit out of people and physically drag them out. It's just a college bar, it's not that serious. I was so disgusted watching the behavior of the bouncers tonight, it's ridiculous how rough they are and no one deserves that.

We came around 11 o'clock at night, we had a lot of fun. We met a lot of people who are local if you're looking to have a slightly chaotic scene I suggest you go there, but they won't let you take water out of the bar unfortunately. Drinks are cheap. Fun environment and glad I went. Definitely got wasted be safe and hydrated

I came here last night for the first time and I was next in line I had my ID out . the first bouncer looked at it confused then gave it to another bouncer. he checks it and says "that's not good". he gives it to another bouncer and they check it. he comes back over and ask if I have another form of ID I said "what's wrong with that one" he said "the picture looks off" .... mind you my ID is 4 years old so they ask if I have a credit card that match my name and I showed them . never coming back here because I never had issues with my ID at any other bar. This bar racist asf. they didn't have any issues checking anybody else ID ..

If you are disabled, don't even try to go here. Heed the reviews, the people who work here are extremely uneducated, rude, and the bouncers literally broke federal and state laws in the two minutes I was there. I am disabled, and require aids such as noise cancelling headphones and my perfectly behaved, task trained service dog in order to safely attend places like this. I tried to go in it's earliest hours, hardly anyone was there, and there would have been absolutely no issues with me and my dogs ability to safely enjoy their services. I also didn't think we would have any issues because I was under the impression that this place is usually pet friendly, anyway. However while in line the bouncers first told us I couldn't wear headphones. Confusing because they had a sign that said they don't really enforce dress code, they didn't care about phones or purses. Also because I knew people who had gone in with headphones in the past, no problem. A second later they noticed my dog (standing nicely by my side as trained, decked out in very noticeable service dog gear) and said no dogs allowed. I explained he was a service dog. They repeated that they wouldn't let him in. (Keep in mind that it is illegal under NC state, and federal law to deny access to a service dog). The person I was with asked if he was the only reason they weren't letting me in, and when the bouncer inclined his head that yes, that was why, she mentioned that he was federally protected. One of them then asked to see "paperwork." Asking for paperwork for a service dog is ALSO, EXTREMELY illegal under federal and state law. I calmly explained that, and explained the two questions they are allowed to ask to identify a service dog. At that another bouncer walked up, and immediately without word the one who had asked the question walked away from us, while this new guy motioned for us to get out of line and used his physical presence as a means of intimidation. Had enough at this point. They made clear that the only reason I wasn't allowed in was because of my service dog. It is EXPLICIT under NC state and federal law that denying a person entry because of their service dog is disability discrimination. Looking at the other reviews I am glad we walked away, because I don't doubt that the bouncer would have become physically violent if we had tried to stay. This place has horrible reviews for a reason, don't even bother wasting your time. We found another bar and they were very well educated about service dogs and we had a great time. Unless ownership takes control and fires their existing staff or really really re-trains them, I can't see how this place is going to avoid being buried in lawsuits soon.
