Hands down to the best BIRYANI here in USA.Had Goat biryani with Goat haleem,Chicken 65 and they tasted ammmmazing. Highly recommend this place when you're in Chicago. Friendly staff,It's bit difficult to find a table as the dine inn is small and always crowded, be prepared to expect some wait time. Added some of my snaps from this place.

Came to yet another Indian restaurant on Devon Avenue. It seems like this is one of the newer ones. Tawakkul is a pretty small place. Has two sections that are the dining room, and to order at the counter. Looks like the menu is a combination of Chinese and Indian. After looking at the menu, we decided on one of the few vegetarian choices. It only has a few to choose from. The rest of the menu is meaty like chicken, goat, and seafood. Ended up getting the Bhindi Masala. It's about $9 for quite a lot of this. This includes rice with an entree, which is something that's becoming rarer unfortunately. Good spice to it. This also came with sambar, which added some even more spiciness. Good as far as being authentic. It has a few Chinese items such as noodles along with the Indian food. There's not a whole lot but there's a few items for vegetarians.

Ordered mutton biryani from here it was decent. Not that good quality. The ambiance was average and service need improvements

Hands down best hydrabad taste level food . No other restaurants will get you this taste , second would be king kabob , then Hyderabad house .

Food was amazing, especially for the price and huge portions. Service was eh. The samosas and chicken biriyani were soooo good.

I love there lamb Briyani, they give you so many pieces of lamb . Don't be fooled by the small restaurant there pack some bunch. Lamb fry is delicious!!!

Ordered takeout. Every dish came covered in an inch layer of oil. Currently experiencing intestine rot from a few bites of this greasy mush. Nobody could finish their food. Avoid at all costs.

AMAZING !! Everything here is fire. The best Daal on Devon hands down! Servers frequently check on you and top up your water. I cannot even judge the meat because I don't eat any meat but if you're a vegan or a vegetarian, heaven awaits you! I literally cannot even believe that no one has rated this place yet on yelp.

good food, reasonable prices but staff need to do a good scrubbing and deep cleaning, I think it will be more inviting for people if it was clean or fresher the staff is friendly and it seems very busy so food is tasty.

Amazing, Delicious Food. Goat/Lamb Biryani is #1 compare to any restaurant in Chicago and Suburbs. I have always preferred takeaway for the past couple of years and enjoy their Biryani at home with family. Great Food and Great Prices. I have recommended this place to many friends and family members.
