We decided to try Tasty Pot on a Friday night and called ahead to check if reservations were needed. Luckily, they had availability, and when we arrived, we were seated right away. The restaurant has a modern, clean look, with plenty of TVs to catch a game, which my husband and son appreciated. The service started off well - we were greeted quickly, and our waters came out right after we sat down. Our orders came out surprisingly fast, though the hot pot experience was a little different than what we were used to. Instead of adding the ingredients to the pot ourselves, everything came already placed in. This is covered in the menu so it wasn't surprising, it was just different and didn't leave room to omit ingredients we don't particularly like. The only downside to our visit was the delay with our drinks. It took quite a while for them to arrive, well after we had started eating. We even had to ask one of the other staff members to check on them. To be fair, there was a big college football game on, and our server seemed pretty busy, which likely caused the delay.Overall, the food was good. Once we got our drinks, they were good. I just would have preferred to get our sake much earlier in the meals so I didn't feel like we had to rush to drink it at the end.Overall, despite the hiccup with the drinks and our server being a bit hard to find after the meal was served, it was still a good experience. We'd be happy to come back - just maybe not on a game day!

Casual, clean interior to enjoy some hotpot!5 different spice levels from none to flaming and you get to choose rice or vermicelli (or other options at an additional cost). The hotpot came in an open flame, and you can move the lever to the center to turn it off. Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup 9/10- filled with napa, instant noodle, beef, beef tendon, mushrooms, tempura, clam, calamari, fish all, rice cake, fried tofu skin, tofu, sour mustard, imitation crazy meatball, cilantro, and scalllion- I got very spicy and it has a kick!- I didn't expect the beef slices to be chopped up --Service was nice and quick for us!

I've gone to a lot of hot pot places here in Colorado and I'd say this is one of the best!! I got the beef hot soup and the broth was perfect and the toppings paired well together. The drinks are also super good!! The owner and servers were super attentive and nice! I highly recommend this place.

Disappointing, overpriced and got food poisoning. If you have never had hot pot, this is a fine entry point. It will likely make future experiences feel amazing cause this sets the bar somewhat low. Our honest rating is a 2.5 star. It's very middle of the road but not in a good way. We walked in to pleasant aromas and were seated immediately. Our server was very knowledgeable and helped guide us to our food choices. That was probably the best part of the experience. Our biggest complaint in general was the quality of ingredients. That and lack of attention by the server. We were left alone for a long time, which was exasperated by the fact our waters were empty and we had to ask repeatedly for more. To the extent I just asked for a pitcher, but they didn't do that. My wife got a boba with non-dairy creamer. The flavor was very mild, and while we have had lactose free boba that was good, this was not one of them. The Cheese wontons were probably the best food item we had. The wonton was crispy and thick, the cheese was a typical filling. So all in all it was good. I got the Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup at a medium spice level. The flavors were fine. Nothing exciting. The beef was chewy and tough, or was entirely gristle and fatty chucks. The crab was imitation, the clams were tiny and there weren't many at all. I'm not going to claim I knew what everything in the bowl was. But what I did recognize was generally disappointing. My wife got the soy garlic sizzling beef. When asked how it was she gave me a shrug and a "meh". The quality of the meat again seemed to be a problem. It was chewy and stringy. The noodles were fine. But after she had finished it was agreed that both of our meals were a little disappointing. I'll finish with some highlights. The presentation in itself was pretty good across the board. They do a good job of making their dishes look very appealing. It smelled good and looked good. Again the staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly, but not very attentive. This could have just been an off night for them. The food was edible, non of it got sent back. We didn't even consider that as an option. It was fine, it was food, it just didn't seem like very good quality. We both agreed that next time we will just go to the Asian Market, get higher quality ingredients, make these dishes ourselves and probably spend less than we did on this meal. For two entrees, one appetizer and a boba we spent over $70. For a place we were looking forward to, we both left apologizing to each other that it wasn't better.

Went to Tasty Pot with family today, ordering the seafood lobster hot soup, lamb hot soup and cheesy milk hot soup. Did not dare to try their famous Taiwanese supreme spicy hot soup and the even spicier Sichuan flavor hot soup. Quite a lot of ingredients and the portion was right. Certainly more tasty and less labor intensive than the regular hot pot. Heard their LoHi location will be ready soon, but don't know the exact date yet. Anyway the South Denver location is more convenient for me.

This place hit the spot. I just decided I wanted a hotpot and looked this up and got so lucky that this place is stellar. The service, the quality, the ambiance, was all amazing. I felt satisfied and was so thankful the waiter gave us advice on not adding to our selections until we get use to eating here. It was perfect. I can't 100 percent remember my tastypot without looking at the menu, but it was delicious and I've added a picture.

Delicious food, great customers service, and reasonable price for the amount of food you get! There are plenty of seatings in the restaurant. I was here early mid afternoon so the restaurant wasn't noisy or crowded. Highly recommend!
