This was an excellent Indian restaurant in the Philadelphia area. The service by the waitress, Jasmine, it was excellent. The food from appetizers to desserts were amazing. The tandoori mix grill was great. The mixed pakora appetizer was great as well.Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.Jasmine's dad was the chef and was very nice as well. I will certainly return when I'm back in area.

Stumbled upon this place late at night when we were hungry and got extremely lucky by what we found. They recently changed to 24 hours too which is amazing. The food was excellent- received complementary veggie pakora which was very tasty. The spice level we got was medium which was great, just a bit of a kick. We got the shahi paneer and chicken makhani and they were both excellent and very flavorful. Finally the service was spectacular. Jasmine was our server and she was very warm and attentive. We will 100% be coming back.

Sooo delicious!!! We were going to get food to go and decided to stay and eat there. So glad we did. Wonderful family run place, very attentive and clearly put love into everything they serve. Best Indian food we've had for a very long time. Will definitely make this one of our regulars!

Authentic and amazing!! Ordered takeout and it was absolutely delicious! Be prepared for spice if you order the Chicken Karahi. If you can't handle spice then definitely you need to tell them, but the flavors were perfection! The personal note on my bag just made me smile and I appreciate those little touches so much! If I lived over there, I would be eating here EVERY SINGLE DAY! Until next time Taste of Punjab! Can't wait to visit again!

We ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Moments later my phone rang- it was the restaurant calling to confirm our order and desired spice level! Very impressed. And when the food arrived it was delicious and perfectly spiced. We had lamb vindaloo and chole at level 4 of 5 and chicken tikka masala at 2-3. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a local gem!! I just had takeout from here and the food was fantastic. Probably my new local favorite for Indian food! The chicken tikka masala and lamb rogan josh were so flavorful with the perfect amount of heat (I ordered medium spicy). The lamb was tender and the chicken was moist. The vegetable samosas were packed generously with filling and the garlic naan was soft and fluffy. The portions here are pretty generous as well. I was not expecting for the food to be this good, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. Please give this place a chance, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Hidden gem in south Philly. Warm, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Employees make you feel very welcome. Food is delicious and fresh--the flavor of the tikka masala is my favorite of all the Indian food I've tried in Philly. They do a lot of takeout, but very cozy for eat-in as well. They let us try the vegetable pakora, and we had the chicken tikka masala and chicken curry that came with rice, and tried some pappadum. They offered spicy level of 1-5, and 4 definitely had some heat. I preferred the tikka masala sauce to the curry sauce, but both were good. Parking can be tricky in the area, but well worth the trip. Highly recommend it!

I cannot speak more highly of this place. To be brief, here are the things I love about this place:1. The food is EXCEPTIONAL. I have been waiting for a really good Indian restaurant to come into Philly. It's taken 12 years, but I found one. We got the vegetable samosa (with 2 veggie pakora thrown in complimentary), chana masala, navaratam korma, garlic naan, and onion naan. Not to be dramatic or anything, but I nearly started crying-- everything was so amazing- good flavor, good spice level. Plus we got complimentary rice pudding which also was incredible.2. The restaurant is family-owned. This makes a huge difference for us, as we would prefer to support local, family-owned businesses. Plus it really does add to the atmosphere when you get to develop a relationship with the owners.3. The service was fantastic. Jasmine served us and was so kind and welcoming, and she was genuinely happy to meet new neighbors. She only had good things to say about the South Philly brethren, too. Plus... complimentary food. That was a nice touch.Nothing bad to report. Seriously, if you like Indian food, you've gotta try this place.

Excellent food and quick delivery service. Would definitely order from here again. Would've been helpful if they had included plates and silverware as I had requested.

Clean, good service, and relatively fast. Pretty authentic place overall. Just make sure you pick the spice level appropriately, medium can be too much for some.
