This was our first time there we went there for lunch. The restaurants are very clean. The atmosphere is nice but like most Chinese restaurants the people aren't very friendly. Service was OK. Get the food. We were there for lunch so we ordered two lunch combos. The food tasted really well presentation was good. The problem is they were very, very small portions. We eat Chinese food for lunch quite often and these were by far the smallest portions I've ever seen would've given five stars if I would've been able to taste the food because it was just so tiny not sure if we would go back.

Why 4 stars? Because this is definitely better than the typical Chinese fast food spot. --- --- ---On Christmas Day, we were driving to my in-laws and went right past Taste of China. My wife said, "ooooo we should order Chinese tonight if they are open," and I've never agreed more with one of her suggestions. Indeed, they ended up being open (bless these people), so we snagged a to-go order on our way back home.We both wanted beef lo mein, so that was a must. It ended up being the highlight of our meal. Honestly, this is some of the best beef lo mein I've had in the area out of the several places I've tried. The sweet and sour chicken was fine. Not bad, but not something we'd need to order again. And the fried rice that came with it was about what you'd expect from 99% of fried rice's out there.Overall, I think this is elevated Chinese fast food - definitely better than what you'd typically find in a strip mall.

Ordered General Tso's, fried rice and lo mein today. First I got the lunch meal and it's the same price as dinner but much smaller portion. The lo mein was terrible, it was old noodles with soy sauce, I could not even eat it and the fried rice was mushy. I used to really like this place but it has gotten so bad! Beware.

The food is your typical Chinese cuisine. Good, but nothing remarkable. It has been consistently good portions and tastes. The restaurant is always very clean and you get your food fairly quickly, however the service is lacking. No one checks if you need anything after your food is dropped off. You usually have to wave someone down if you want another drink, water, or anything else... Stop in of you want good food, served quick and reasonably priced.

This is one of just a sprinkle of Chinese restaurants in this area, and our experience was 'okay' nothing special, nothing bad though either. Just okay. We would definitely eat there again as its minutes from our house. I ordered chicken egg foo young, the egg patties were good, but the gravy was too thin, and no rice was served with the dish. This was a to go order, so i dont know if that was a mistake or not. trying to call back and get that information was kinda difficult, so i let it go. My husband had the cashew chicken, and he liked it, but did say the portion was small. it was a lunch portion, but even that seemed a bit less than what we traditionally get at other locations. We will be back and I hope to be able to up the review to at least a 4 star.

Sorry but this isn't Chinese food. It masquerades as Chinese food but it isn't. I ordered shrimp egg rolls. Menu says you get to for a price. I expected an egg roll. I got a single shrimp wrapped in a wonton. THATS NOT AN EGG ROLL!BBQ pork is as dry as my shoe leather. Won't be back. I even called to discuss and was shrugged off.

Oh. No. This was not good ! Egg drop soup had chicken (breast/tender) meat in it. Why?! Crab puffs were okay, but more cream cheese than crab. Sweet and sour chicken had an odd taste about it-threw it out. Unfortunate meal overall.

I ordered sweet-and-sour shrimp which came out as frozen shrimp out of a box when I told the waitress. She dismissed it ordering something else was not an option. And she went on to count the number of shrimp on the plate. I had taken one bite. My husband had taken one bite, so she charged me for 2 Shrimp. It was a very awkward situation. Other patrons were unhappy with their meals and service as well. Management seem to not care at all; Just wanted us to hurry and leave. We order close to a hundred dollars worth of delivery once a week from this restaurant, but this will be our last time to give them any of our money.

Taste of China is a hidden gem Asian spot in Montgomery & is quickly becoming a lunchtime favorite for the following reasons:1. In a world of overpriced food, their lunch entrees are priced below many fast food chains restaurants & portions are sizable. Todays order of orange chicken, fried egg rolls, & wonton soup cost $11.80 before tip. 2. Food quality is very high IMO. Todays order left me full & very satisfied, & it was well cooked & presented, to boot.3. They're very fast! Today's visit was 25 mins start to finish & the order was correct.Ambiance is nice & staffers are super friendly. Worth regular visits IMO!
