Tassili's Raw Reality

Tassili's is amazing!! These wraps are huge. And filled with all sorts of vegan goodness! You can actually go to a restaurant (Tassili's) and feel GOOD about what you ate. That's near unheard of in these times. Usually, if I want to consume something wholesome and healthy, I have to make it myself at home. I had the Punany wrap, and ordered a Dat Ish wrap to go. Both were sensational. This is fresh, healthy, flavorful food and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.So I'm just thrilled to have found Tassili's and am hoping the owner expands to more of Atlanta and beyond. We need more of this!While on my first trip there was a short line, on my second I didn't have to wait at all. So it depends on the day you visit and time of day. You can also place orders online for pickup.

I had to come back as my 1st visit consisted of the Liberation Lemonade & a Brownie - both hit the spot. On my next visit, I got the Punany Wrap & it was fresh & fulfilling. I realized I didn't take a picture until after I ate my wrap. Amongst the raw, vegan ingredients the wraps, salads, soups, small plates, drinks & desserts provide well-rounded offerings of all things raw. The creative culinary approach with flavors & seasonings makes you forget that you're eating "raw" foods. & prices are super easy on the pockets.You'll feel the high-spirited vibrations in the atmosphere.

I placed my order at 11:49 AM, it says it'll be ready for pickup at 12:49 PM. I got to the store at 1:38 because they are always late and my order still wasn't ready. In fact I wasn't able to get my order until 1:54 PM. The point of ordering ahead is eliminate waiting. People have jobs, appointments, etc. If fulfilling the is difficult remove the online ordering option.

I was recommended Tassili's by a friend and decided to try the Punany wrap, and let me tell you, it's AWESOME. I'm an avid meat eater, but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try something different, and I'm so glad I did. The Punany is packed with a delicious mix of mild kale (I'll definitely try a mix of mild and spicy next time because the mild was really just...non-spicy), sweet coconut corn, karamu couscous, fresh avocado, and soy-free vegan mayo, all wrapped up in a spinach tortilla. I ordered mine without tomatoes, and I went for the half-size portion, which was still huge and super filling. Honestly, if you're thinking of ordering the full size, just know you'll be in for a serious feast! That said, one big downside is the service--it's *suuper* slow. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes, if not more. The food is worth it, but they could definitely improve their efficiency. Having no one consistently working the cash register is just blasphemy. So, come with some time to spare and a bit of patience, but the food itself is totally worth the wait!

This what food would taste like if God took time out of His busy schedule to make it. Be prepared to be greeting be a friendly and welcoming staff. The vibe inside is always set by the best mix of music you needed to hear on that day! There is a bit of a wait unless you time it right and get lucky. However, any wait time will be well worth it and you will find yourself going more and more to this wonderful slice of Heaven in Atlanta, Georgia.

There are many pros and cons when it comes to Tassiili's Raw Reality. Let's start with the good: fresh greens and wraps all rolled into a bundle of deliciousness. The not so good: needs to have a little more organization. I saw that the online orders are made from the same bar that the main orders are made from. The wait can be a bit much because there is the sense that bridges coordinating efforts. When you walk in it looks like a work station for ordering- there was also a refrigeration system in place with fulfilled orders inside. Then you walk by that station to get to the main ordering station. One person initiates the order then it's handed off to another person where they complete and wrap the menu item in Saran Wrap. The person to their right is the cashier. Food is good I ordered the southwestern wrap with mixed spicy seasoning. The cayenne was a little over bearing so next time I will order the mild. Portions are huge so start with a 1/2 an order unless you order a full and share with a friend or family person. It's a small location, standing room only in the inside and outside a few tables and chairs but it's unkept. Meaning the worn indoor outdoor carpet that is stained with plant residue and dirt along with the off portioned stairs that could be a hazard getting in or exiting could be a hazard on a rainy day. No dedicated parking. So parking in a safe secure space is limited to the elements and surrounding. Lighting is an opportunity so be mindful when it's gets dark.

I've been here several times over the years and the food never disappoints. Lately the service has been not so great. I understand they had staffing issues however I think to mitigate the long weights they should either a discontinue mobile orders or limit the amount of orders and provide more accurate wait times. A few weeks ago I ordered on the app and it gave me an estimated time of pick up to be 30 to 45 minutes after I placed the order, fine. I get to the restaurant at the time that it said my food will be ready and I was met with a line for the mobile order pick up. I had to wait an additional 30 to 45 minutes after my food was supposed to be available. There was no explanation just the food was on the way. This could've been detrimental as some people in the line were on their lunch break and I'm sure exhausted their entire lunch waiting due to a false pick up time. Before the food is great and the person at the pick up counter did offer a barbecue dipping sauce for the way however, I do not think that still makes up for the extreme wait times. it almost would've been more conducive to just go in the restaurant and stand in that 30 minute line to get my food at the time as opposed to placing the order on the app. I say this as constructive criticism because I do like the food at those restaurant and what they stand for however, the wait times are ridiculous.

Timeline of placing an online order and receiving the order was terrible. Eta was 211 pm and having to wait an hour later. Order not prepared when I had already allowed 1 hour preparation time for pickup. Other customers shared the same experience and I have no doubt the food will be amazing since the flow of customers was consistent but the pickup line was stagnant. The ambiance is basic for a raw vegan restaurant. As a out of town customer I don't know if I'll return. I will say I was very pleased with the food. The kale salad with black eyed pea hummus and carrot tuna was delectable and the black love stew was also flavorful and fulfilling. I was very satisfied with the food, the flavor, and the offerings but the service is very lacking. As a traveler I value the time that I have and the experiences I have when I travel, so how you make me feel matters. So I probably would not frequent this place again unless I see the reviews or word of mouth that the level of service has tremendously changed.

You order at the counter and they make your wrap in front of you (like Chipotle). Limited seating outside.Service speed is a bit slow, but it didn't kill the experience. Staff are friendly. It's fun to watch them wrap these huge wraps, I'm surprised they are able to fit everything inside. If you order the Punany, or Mandingo, you better say it with your chest! It gets a small chuckle from the staff.Flavors are good and umami!I would come again!I would come again!

Great healthy food. Your food will not be ready by the time they give you if you put do an online order.
