Taquitos Cafeteria

If I could, I would give it no stars. The food is cafeteria style in the morning for breakfast. I got 3 tacos and a coffee. The coffee was literally room temp and self serve, I mentioned if they could plz make a fresh pot. I got an attitude and it never came. The tacos were somehow greasy and bland. The tortillas were advertised as fresh and homemade; they did not taste homemade. I went to the counter to ask for salsa to flavor up the tacos. I was ignored for literally 6 minutes. Yes, I counted. I finally got the attention of someone who wasn't trying to avoid my gaze. They gave me salsa. Finally the bill came. $13 for 3 tacos and a coffee. Mind you the coffee never came. I asked why the price was what it was and got a cold shrug and a "it is what it is" from the staff. I will not return here again and do not recommend this place. At least if the service is good I can excuse some issues. But the food AND the staff was bad.

Homemade. Legit. Traditional Mexican food. Great meat options. Fresh tortillas. I go for the breakfast tacos and the lengua, barbacoa, carne guisada tacos. They offer cilantro, onion, jalapeño, lime, and housemade salsas to top them off. Everybody working there is so incredibly nice--feels like they've welcomed you into their kitchen. My go to taco place for years!

This definitely THE BEST and ONLY place I go to get my tacos!! The ladies are very sweet and the tortillas are ALWAYS fresh! The only thing I can complain about is that they aren't open all day!

First time coming here in years and it didn't disappoint. I had the guisada, barbacoa, and fajita tacos. Good size, homemade tortilla, and good taste. I'll definitely be going back. Service was friendly and it had a true cafeteria feel.

Really enjoyed an authentic Mexican restaurant! I moved here from South Texas, and this reminds me of home. We'll definitely be back.

I used to love there tortillas , keyword used to , but tell me why me and my girl went there a month ago and spent 37$ on one small coffee , one can coke and 5 breakfast tacos smh darn shame but maybe it was a one time mistake but at that pace they were charging 7.40$ a taco lol ridiculous never again hope they get they karma unless like I said if it was a simple mistake,, at that they didn't have eggs but I was happy only my girl wanted Eggs it was her first time I knew better cause there eggs are so plain and bland yuck

Overpriced! Coffee was bad, tortillas that are fat on one side and horrible tasting chorizo, bacon n egg how can you screw that up! Whataburger tacos would have been better! Latino restaurant's should take pride in what they serve! 10 tacos 2 coffees n coke $50.00 that was sticker shock for sure! No vale la pena!

It's good up until closing time, that's when the food gets watery. I go all the time I love it

This restaurant has gone down, the menudo looked old parts of the trip were black i have eaten menudo all my life and never seen that , if it's fresh , also the tortillas were horribly dry and the workers are rude and the rest rooms nasty no paper towels to try your hands , flies everywhere and carpet dirty, food nasty, I am very surprise the health department hasn't closed it down or given them a Citation the owner needs to upgrade the restaurant or close it down, I use to love it there not anymore they are so Unorganized on how they serve there food, I won't go back or Recommend it to anyone , when i was there other people were complaining also ,

I'm from Laredo literally next to the border of Mexico i've been to certain restaurants here and they don't give me the feel of good "authentic " Mexican food but honestly this place has some really good barbacoa tacos.The lady's there make you feel at home I honestly will be going back again.
