Side street where we parked. The restaurant is located around that building (where the red car is) in the front.

Came for the pupusas per a friends recommendation. Second guessed it bc the last he told me to try was awful. SO GLAD I CAME! I got three with pork and cheese. Sampled all of their salsas (verde, and two store bought) the verde was the best. The pickled cabbage was by far the best I've ever had. It was tangy, had a hint of spicy, and didn't taste like it was made yesterday- YUM. The pupusas were cooked to a slight crisp but still soft. It didn't fall apart or wasn't too crunchy. - someone who knows nothing about salvadorian food and how it should actually be prepared, served, or eaten but everything about this was the best I've had in a while.

The staff here is extremely rude. Specially the guy taking the order. I'm in a wheelchair so I have a hard time getting in to order. The staff saw me struggling and didn't even offer to hold the door open. They charged me $1 per the little tiny bag of salsa, and I wanted 10 but I don't understand why they can't sell them for $.50 as they're tiny. The guy was so rude! The popusas were cold like if they just heat them up in the microwave. I will NEVER RETURN HERE‼

The cook was super friendly and nice. He was talking to me like he had been knowing me for forever... He let me try the Salvadoran drink that reminds me of the the Nicaraguan drink Pinolío. Yum!! I had 3 pork and cheese pupusas and they were delicioso!!!!!! A little hole in the wall that offers a familial environment.

Came by this spot around mid-day on a Monday, it wasn't very busy when we got there, our food didnt take too long, however I was let down by the service we received. theLOCATION, The restaurant is in this small corner lot that looks kinda sketchy, I think there is another business next door they share the lot with. Parking in front of the restaurant is very limited, so street parking is your next bet. We parked on the side street in front of a house and we were fine. The restaurant is very small (maybe like 6 tables) and when crowded its really loud. theFOOD, The pupusas were okay for $2. The salsa (which is always my fave) was really COLD and it did not taste well with the rest of the food. They do give you plenty of encurtido and it looks like they make the pupusas right there and then. theSERVICE, the guy that took our order was short, had thick brows, was wearing a hat and sweaty arm pit stains on his shirt with a 2000's bluetooth piece on his ear. This man was SO RUDE. we asked him how much the pupusas were and he looked bothered, he brought out the food by parts and when I asked him for the salsa and encurtido he said very rudely "ya viene" as he walked away. he had this passive aggressive attitude, god knows why, and tbh nos amargo el rato. He's the reason im giving the place 3 stars. If you live close to this spot i recommend you order for pick up, if you don't live near, I wouldn't bother coming here at all.

I've been here a couple of times to pick up pupusas and the best thing about this place is that it's cheap and closer than the pupusa shops in Sharpstown and Gulfton. The service can be sometimes gruff and they seem to close their kitchen around 6 or 7 on the weekend despite the posted hours i see on this listing. The dining area is not large, but you're not here for ambiance. The pupusas are legitimate and a bargain compared to the other shops I've been to, especially when they have a special for that day. There's little parking shared with I think is a barber shop.
